Jacques was born on June 25 1951 to Thomas and Mauricette Davis in Brooklyn, NY. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1968 and served in the Vietnam War.
After Jacques returned from the war he met and married his first wife, Barbara Dietsch and they had three beautiful children.
In 1985, Jacques was married a second time, to DonnaLee Beckvermitt Davis. They remained married for the remainder of her life where they were very active in their community in Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn NY.
He retired to North Carolina in 2014 to be close to his children and grandchildren. He truly enjoyed his retirement, spending time at Jordan Lake and travelling in his RV.
Jacques was predeceased by his wife DonnaLee Davis and his brother Robert Davis.
He is survived by his daughters, Giselle Davis O'Connell, Corinne Davis Atri, and Jackie Kanis; his grandsons, Sidd Atri, Axel Kanis and Desmond O'Connell; his niece, Gina Davis and nephew Robert Davis.
