Jimmy Wayne Upchurch, 39, passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2014. Born on June 14, 1974 in Raleigh; he was the son of James Upchurch and Mary Jenkins Upchurch, both of Morrisville. Raised in Morrisville; he attended Northwoods Elementary School, West Cary Middle School and Cary High School.
Jimmy was most recently employed with GFI Computers for over 10 years.
Including his parents, Jimmy is survived by his brother, Jamie Upchurch, of New Hill; by his sister, Lori Hewitt and husband Dana, of New Hill; by his nephew, James Upchurch, of Greensboro; by his nephew and niece, Sebastian and Haylen Hewitt, of New Hill; and by his faithful companion, Bella - his Rottweiler.
Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (200 SE Maynard Road) in Cary. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens in Raleigh.
