It is with great sadness that her family announces our amazing Joe’l, our rock, passed away suddenly April 4, 2022 at the young age of 52.
She was our hero in the end as she was an organ/tissue donor helping hundreds of people. She was predeceased by her brother Lee and her grandparents.
Left behind in sadness are her husband, Dwayne; grandson, Ace who was the light of her life; her son, Christopher Whitby and his wife Brooke; her son, Evan Whitby and his love Chelsea; her special niece, Nicole Tarplee; her parents, David and Sharon Gentry and her fur baby girl, Trixie.
A celebration of life for Joe'l will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511.
