Ken and I shared the passion for late 60s era muscle cars, he owning a 69 3-2bbl 427 Corvette and I had a 69 440 3-2bbl Plymouth Road Runner. I miss the time we would work on each other’s cars and hearing his Corvette roar by the house. But that was Ken. A real Renaissance man with a breadth of interests. I think that’s what I miss the most as he could talk on just about any subject. Rest In Peace my friend. You will not be forgotten. 

I grew up on Evergreen Parkway, Union NJ next door to Kenny, Raymond and their parents Terry and Ray.  We shared great times as children and neighbors.  So sorry to learn of his passing.

We just heard of Ken's passing and wanted to express our deepest condolences.  Moving to NC, and feeling a bit isolated, we were so fortunate to have moved next door to your family.  We have fond memories of  Ken always there to lend a hand if needed, share his knowledge and love of cars and always willing to bring our son to the Hurricanes!  We will never forget what a happy man he was.

I had an interview with Ken to run our sales for the east coast at Valance Technology. I think it was the most memorable interview I ever conducted. Ken not only shows up with so much energy, but he went that extra step and gave me a business plan on what he was going to do when I hired him! Literally had a company profile of Valence, the strength and weaknesses of our technology, how to position our brand and who he was going to go after to grow our sales. I remember him leaving the interview and looking at my HR guy and saying..."How do you not hire this guy!" Ken worked for me for about 3 years and he was an amazing person and a great part of a very tight team. I considered him more of a friend than a co-worker. My condolences go out to his entire family.

I do not have words to express my sadness. Ken was an integral part of our team and a valuable team player. He was always open to be challenged, to learn, to pioneer, and in the same time, he was wise and careful in project execution. I will keep in mind my very last memory of Ken who showed up in one of our team meetings with a black curly wig and a big smile. 
Ken and I often discussed his family: the trip in Paris, his house by the lake, his adventures with his son, and how happy he was in preparing his daughter’s wedding. I will remember Ken as a man with a strong will, a heart full of energy, love, and passion. 
Sharing all my positive energy with his family in this devastating moment.

I do not even have words to appropriately convey our condolences to Stephanie & Ken’s children & grandchild.  They were our next door neighbors for way to short a period of time. I was there when Ken and Stephanie's love story began.  Their love and tenderness towards each other was a joy to behold.  I had the honor of being in their wedding party and sharing the moment when they became one, though that happened long before the ceremony!   Throughout the years, Ken's playfulness would bring a smile to my face and I loved his little laugh especially when he was trying to get on Stephanie's good side!  I have so many wonderful memories of our times together on Long Island, sailing on their boat, American Gyro,  sharing Ken's love for old cars and spending time with their growing family when they visited New York.  

Ken's hand print is on my heart and I am so appreciative for the joy and kindness he has shown not only to me but to this world.  His legacy speaks for itself.  There are no other words....just love for him, Stephanie and the rest of the family.       

I only lived with Ken for 1 year at the University of Pittsburgh, but we were in close proximity and intimate friends for all four years we spent there, and many years after.  I wish I had told him how much he influenced my life.  How his genuinely friendly and warm spirit, and real concern for others, became something I strived to absorb and imitate for the rest of my life.  

He and I had many mutual interests, particularly in automobiles new and old, which attracted and bonded us and our mutual friend/roommate Dave Wyzenbeek.  But it's not those interests you carry years later.  It's the man.  I carry Ken with me so I won't miss him as much.  I always have.

Ken brightened the room. He was a key member of our nonprofit's Advisory Council, and several of our other advisors have shared how much fun it was to work with Ken. I will remember Ken as being the last person to leave our meetings, because he stuck around to talk, usually about his kids and becoming a grandfather and being on the lake, though he was also a good listener asking Emmit on our team about newlywed life or whatever was going on in our lives. I am so sorry for your family's loss. 

Stephanie, when I think of Ken I always remember the many conversations we had in our classroom to pass the time. I bet he still brought you coffee in bed every morning!!!! What a kind man.  I am so sorry for your loss and have prayed for you and the children this week. I know you have some wonderful memories.

I first met Ken while doing some work at Ed Bartlett’s place. He came to look at the lot next door where he and Stephanie built a beautiful lake home.  I took a liking to him immediately. Lake Royale was a better place for his presence.   He will be greatly missed.
