Konstantinos Kyriakoulis, 39, of Cary, NC died May 1, 2015. He was born on September 25, 1975 in Greece. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics, and was serving as Associate Professor at North Carolina State University, Dept. of Advanced Analytics. He passionately loved his work, family and friends; his joyful nature, knowledge and kindness has been a magnet and inspiration to all.
He is survived by his wife, Sofia Panagopoulou; and daughters, Maria, age 7 and Nicoletta, age 5.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511, from 6-9pm with a short service beginning at 7pm.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 5000 Lead Mine Road, Raleigh, NC 27612. Burial will follow at Wake Memorial Park, 7002 Green Hope School Road, Cary, NC 27519.
