Linda Grant Tallon

Linda was born April 17, 1952 in Britt, Iowa to the late Frank & Mandelian (Foertsch) Grant. She was a graduate of Jacksonville High School in North Carolina and was employed in the communications industry for over 20 years. Linda was kind, gentle, genuine and caring to everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank & Mandelian; four brothers Michael Grant, Donald Grant, Gerald Grant and William Grant; one sister Sandra Grant; two nephews David Grant and Michael Grant; one niece Donna Davis.

Linda is survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert (Bob) Tallon; three brothers Robert & Vicki Grant of Latimer, IA, David & Lynne Grant of Clear Lake, IA, Thomas & Kim Grant of Britt, IA; three sisters Joan Davis of Iowa City, IA, Karen Ingham & Richard Nuehring of Rockwell, IA, Mary Cahalan & Tom Dale of Livingston, MT; three sisters-in-law Bonnie Telfer of Jacksonville, NC, Georgiann Grant of Nevada, IA, Joan Grant of Orlando, FL; one Aunt and Uncle Lyle & Irene Kuyper of Algona, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
