Loris Jensen

Loris Jensen passed away Monday, August 19th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of service and love. She was born February 17th, 1936 to loving parents Duncan and Clarice MacGregor in Ballarat, Australia. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with loved ones.

She is survived by her devoted husband Grahme Jensen, Daughter Janine Hiltscher (Brian), Son Kurt Jensen (Laurie). Grandchildren, Cristina Murphy (Dwayne), Stephanie Balkman (Chandler), Hunter Jensen (Kendra), Rachael Green (Jake), Trevor Jensen (Amanda) and six great grandchildren, Chloe, Tessa, Serena, Sydney, Brea and Luke. She is also survived by her brother Graeme McGregor.

In her early years, she was an award winning Scottish bag pipe player, a State champion (Victoria, Australia) Scottish dancer and teacher. Her hobbies included baking, painting, sewing and knitting but her true passion was serving others.

All are welcome to attend Loris's funeral service which will take place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1811 Seabrook Ave, Cary, NC 27511 on Monday August 26th at 10:00 am. Following the funeral, burial sarvices will be held at Wake Memorial Park, in Cary, NC. Memorial tributes and messages of sympathy can be left by clicking on the "Add a Memory" box below.
