Lowell Garrison

Lowell P. Garrison, 84, of Cary, NC passed away on June 22, 2018. He was born on July 19, 1933 in Hudson, NY. He was employed by IBM for 36 years as a Department Technician in Kingston and Poughkeepsie, NY before transferring to RTP in 1976. He served 25 years in the Army National Guard. He was a pivotal member of the Triangle Greyhound Society and enjoyed serving as the Event Coordinator.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Ann Garrison; daughter, Stephanie Havlik and husband, Robert; son, Martin Garrison; granddaughters, Lindsey Havlik and Kacy Riley; grandsons, Michael Havlik and Craig Garrison; great grandchildren, Kayla Massey and Aiden Garrison; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Riley.

A memorial service will be held on June 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, NC.
