Michael Hod Rieber passed away June 24th, 2017 at WakeMedHospital in Raleigh, NC after suffering a stroke the week before. Michael was born in San Antonio, TX on June 18th, 1961. He relocated to North Carolina in 1980. He worked for American Airlines for 18 years in Raleigh and Dallas and made many cherished friendships in those communities. Michael was preceded in death by his father Charles Ney Rieber (2015). Michael is survived by his four children; Kevin Rieber, Emily Rieber, Brian Rieber, and Edith Harter; mother Joan Rieber; brother John Rieber; and two grandchildren. The memorial will be on Saturday, July 15th from 2pm-6pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511.
