Mildred Eugenia “Jean” Riggan Matthews, 92, died February 1, 2018. She was born in Vaughan, NC on April 26, 1925 to Benjamin Wright Riggan and Mabel Eugene Vaughan Riggan.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; son, Robbie Wrenn; stepdaughter, Brenda Spence; sister, Mary Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, February 3, 2018 at First Baptist Church Cary. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
