Nancy worked as Head OBGYN Nurse at Rex Hospital and then was Head of the Medical Department at ITT. After her nursing career, she worked as a hostess at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. She was an active member of The Order of the Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church in Cary.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Sidney Allen Foltz, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Joy Pierce (Scott) of Garner, NC; son, The Reverend Doctor Tripp Foltz (Sheila) of Siler City, NC; granddaughters, Bethany Davis (Eric), Sydni Law (Alex) and Samantha Orcutt (David); great grandchildren, Scotty Davis and Addie Law.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, October 15, 2021at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at First United Methodist Church, 117 S. Academy Street, Cary, NC 27511. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Masonic Home for Children of Oxford, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
