Hi Grandma, 
Happy 96th birthday and four year anniversary in heaven.   No matter how much time has passed, I will forever hear your voice in my head and the words of love and wisdom that you gave me.  You set a high standard of being a good mother and person and I know myself, my siblings, and Lauren do our best to love in a way that reflects that.  Even though I can’t call you on the phone, I know you are still always there for me. I love you and miss you now and forever.

                                     HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN

Sweetheart , it was on your birthday 4 years ago today that God's
angels took you  to heaven.  Everyday I miss you and everyday  I
think of your word's, "Please remember me as I was, not as I  am."

I think of those words everyday and everyday I think of you as you
were. There is nothing that I would want to miss, not one of your 
beautiful smiles, or even one of those few frowns, not one word, not one touch , and certainly, not one kiss.                                                     

I remember you on our first date , and how beautiful you looked on
our wedding day. I remember how strong you were  on the day I left for the army and how you prayed and wrote to me everyday.
I remember how while I was in the army you were the breadwinner
and how hard you worked to pay the bills. I remember the day I told  you  that when I make as much money as our combined weekly salaries $150.00,  you would be able  to quit work and be a stay at home mom, and thinking to yourself, I'll be working a long time.  It took 7 years  but we made it, and  not once during those 7 years did you complain or ask for anything for  yourself.                                                    

I remember you giving birth to our 3 sons  and how amazed I was at how you were able to keep them so well dressed on the tight budget that you were on. Maybe it was the $2.00 a week you used to put into the local bank Christmas Club program.

I remember how proud I was of you when we attended IBM events
and how rather than spend money for an evening dress for  yourself you would "shop in my mom's closet."

There is much more that I can write  but what I  remember most 
               IS THE LOVE YOU HAD FOR OUR SONS AND ME.

Dear Mom,
Happy heavenly birthday!  It has been four years since you left us but there has not been a single day that you have not been thought of!  How lucky was I to have had the best mother in law anyone could ever hope for.  From the very first moment that you and JIngles opened the door to meet me, you made me feel welcome and loved.  We had so many wonderful memories together.  Just the other day I was remembering my first Thanksgiving in Raleigh, right after Bobby and I got engaged, when you and I went shopping. There was a pretty pink cowl neck sweater we passed and I said how much I liked it and you got it for me for that Christmas.  You were always so thoughtful - trying to do things that made other people happy (whether it was a sweater I liked or my twinkies which you always had a supply of for me.)  Thank you for so many decades of happy memories which I treasure and for being such a wonderful role model of a wife, mother and selfless person,  I love you and miss you mom! - Monica

Hard to believe it has been four years since we were last together, but in reality you are with me every day.  The impact you had on my life, from the time I was very little, through my teen age years, to meeting the love of my life, to having my own family, till today, you have always been a big part of my being who I am.

Some folks refer to me as a Guidotti through and through.  But I know I am as much a Fragetti as a Guidotti.  Always aware of what is going on.  Being sensitive to others.  Being humble and generous are traits I try hard to live up to.

You and Dad, who misses you more than anyone can imagine, were the best parents that anyone deserves.  I only try to be as good as you  both.

Tomorrow marks what would have been your 96th birthday, and I find myself reflecting on the profound impact you had on my life. It's hard to believe it's been four years since you left us, but not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you dearly.

You were not just my mom, but my biggest fan, and you always offered unwavering support during the most challenging times. Your encouragement helped shape me into the person I am today. I will always cherish the moments we shared—the laughter, the lessons, and the warmth of your love.

You were a great mom to me and a wonderful grandma to Lauren. The bond you two shared brought so much joy and created memories that will last her a lifetime. 

As I navigate life without you, I hold onto the many lessons you taught me. Your devotion to our family, selflessness, and unwavering faith continue to inspire me. I miss you more than words can express and wish I could celebrate this day with you in person.

Sweetheart , it is hard to believe that it is more than 3  1/2 years
since God's angels took you to heaven.  Everyday I look at  your 
picture  and tell you that I love you and miss you very much.
But no words , memories or pictures can ever bring you back. In
my prayers I pray that you are at peace with your mom, dad,
grandmother, and two sisters, and that someday we will be 
together again.

When I visit you I always read to you the lines from the 
anniversary card that I gave you on June 24, 2021, our 70th and
last anniversary together, the saying goes:

                               "TO THE LOVE OF MY LIFE"
"Thank you for being the love of my life, the wonderful wife I adore
The person who shares all my dreams and desires, my plans , 
 my adventures and more.
Thank you for being my very best friend, my comforter when things go  wrong.

Happy Mother's Day Mom.  It is hard to believe another year has passed with you in heaven but your impact on our lives is still as strong as ever.  Monica and I just got back from 4 months in Florida and I am so happy you got to spend a few days down there, what seems like just a few months ago, but actually 6 years.  This afternoon we are all heading to Rob and Maureen's house and it will be great to have all the kids and grandkids there.  You know how hard it is to get them all together in one spot, but this is the day it always happens.  

I miss you Mom. Your smile, the hugs, your answering the phone  "Hey Bobby, is everything ok" every time I called.  And replying, "yea everything is great how are you......"   It was just our way of saying hello.  I miss that.

Please keep watch over all of us.  And trust me, I never put a hat on a bed........  there are just some things that you said and did that have had an impact that will never be forgotten,  Love you Mom

Hi Grandma,
Happy Mother’s Day! I am writing this while I am at the boy’s 67th baseball game of the week. Thank you for always advising me to enjoy these moments because your children are only with you for a little while. Although you admittedly didn’t know what was going on the ball fields, your sons knew you knew they had your love and support. I hope my sons remember that too..actually I know they will because I am always in my dumb wearable l blanket, so actually everyone knows I am there. you wouldn’t be caught dead in it :-)
Your love and guidance still shines through each of us as we raise our own children. Enjoy your Mother’s Day, surrounded by all the special mom’s who left their mark on each of us from generations past <3. We all love and miss you so much!

Dear Mom,
Today, as we get ready to celebrate Mother’s Day, I read the beautiful letter dad wrote to you.  I was so touched when he referred to your words about the thrill you had holding your newborn sons.  Although I came into your life much later, I know you accepted me as a daughter and always treated me as one of your own.  I am so grateful to you for raising Bobby into the man he is today.  You truly were an unbelievable mother and the absolute best mother-in-law anyone could ever have!  I miss you and think about you every day.  I miss our long chats but you are always in my heart and know you still with all of us.

Sweetheart, it is hard to believe that it was more than 72  years ago
that you became a mother, and what a GREAT mother you were
bringing 3 wonderful sons into this world.  In the letter to them in their books  you wrote "Throughout my entire life some of my most cherished and beautiful moments have been when remember each of you being born, the thrill of holding you in my arms as infants, and watching you grow from boyhood to manhood.

You can be VERY PROUD of the job you did because today your 
3 sons are great dads and granddads. You hold a special place in their hearts ,they love and miss you very much, so from them "A HAPPY  MOTHER'S DAY MOM."

This is also a special day to remember our mom's who were so 
different in life styles but who had one thing in common. They were GREAT moms who always loved  us and who, like you ,always  
put our needs before their own,  To both of them and our grandmothers before them, HAPPY MOTHERS  DAY, may they all

Not because I am I am worried  I will forget it, but because I know you are (and always will be) with me.  It why I usually speak of you in the present tense- in fact I just told two people this morning, “Today is my Grandma’s birthday, and I have to wish her happy birthday later.” So here I am!
I enjoyed reading grandpa recounting your stories and I can hear and see you telling them with your glowing smile. I see you in so much of my own personality, especially how I enjoy making people laugh at the events that unfold in my own life. I see you too in Ryan who too shares your gregarious personality. I love you Grandma- thank you for continuously showing  those little signs that you are with me.

Happy #95th birthday in heaven.  One of the things I always looked forward to on my birthday was you and dad calling and singing to me – you sure put your whole  heart into it!  I so enjoyed reading those memories dad just posted.  One of the many things I always loved and admired about you was how you told such wonderful funny stories about things that had happened to you.  You had a way of not taking yourself too seriously and finding humor in experiences.  You certainly had a life that was well lived!  We all miss you and think about you every day.  (Dad misses you terribly but he is his usual incredible self!!)  Thank you for being you (and for raising Bobby to be the amazing guy I fell in love with!)

Hey Mom

It is hard to believe that it has been 3 years since you went to heaven on your 92 birthday.  I was thinking how fast the last 3 years went, but then I have to wonder where did the last 67 years go.  You and Dad would say that time goes faster as you get older and you were right.

I miss you Mom.  That smile and laugh, the greetings when we talked or saw each other.  Your attitude of doing anything and everything for your boys (including Dad) and your humble approach to life.  You were always there for us and you also embraced the love of my life, Monica, as your daughter.

You and Dad could have taken a very different approach to my staying in NY after college so that I could pursue Monica.  We had only been dating for a month when she had to attend a wedding in Raleigh.  She stayed at the house and you and her got along great.  You told me that you understood why I was in love with her and gave your blessing.  

Looking back to May of 1979, you were just short of 50, and I had my first  date with Monica, graduated college, moved in with Annie, started work with IBM in NY, went to Atlanta twice for 6 weeks of training and in 6 months got engaged.  The rest is history that resulted in 44 years together, 4 wonderful children and 4 beautiful grandkids and a terrific life with the person I love.  All because of your selflessness of letting me do what I wanted.  I know you planned for  me to move back to NC and be with you Dad and Rich, but you, being you, gave me the green light.   You and Dad allowed me to make my own decisions and it changed my life forever,  and I will NEVER forget that.   I love and miss you Mom.

I read through all of the great memories that Dad shared below, and for a few minutes, I felt like I could hear your voice recanting many of those same funny stories. 

I miss you, but I know that you are with family, which makes me happy for you. I have no doubt that one day, you and Dad will be back together, looking down at all of us and shaking your heads (or whatever your spirits have up there).

      YOUR ENCOUNTERS WITH THE POLICE CONTINUED

Your encounter with the hard nosed cop who directed traffic on
Central Avenue when you refused to make a required left hand
turn because if you did you would not know how to get home. 
When the cop asked you, "Lady , did you ever think about making
the turn , go up the hill and turn around?" and you saying, "O no,
I never thought of that."   He let you go with a shake of his head and a smile.

The time you stopped in back of a truck at a traffic light in Dobb's Ferry while scolding the boys in the back seat. When the guy along
side of you started to laugh, you also laughed. Then the driver of
the truck in front of you got out and said "Lady , when your finished laughing would you mind backing off my ramp.  The kids
threatened to report you to me.

Sweetheart , these are just a few of the many HAPPY MEMORIES
that I have of our 71 plus years together starting with one of the
happiest days  of my life, our first date, September 23, 1950 to 
the saddest day of my life, December 21, 2021, the day God's
angels took you to heaven.   You were the perfect wife , sweetheart, and mother.  You gave me and our sons' 100 % of
yourself  100% of the time and asked for nothing in return.

                    WORKING EXPERIENCES CONTINUED

Or when you were working as a supervisor at Burnell and you almost caused your boss to have a heart attack because you were initialing all of the artillery fuses you inspected with your initials , "NG" which she interpreted as "NO GOOD."  She told you , "Nancy, just sign you name."

YOUR TEEN AGE YEARS- When  you and your cousin's, Mickey 
and Dolly went to the Yankee stadium and all you girls did was
look thru your binoculars at the sailors.

Your dad making you go to a prom with Tommy Gamberdelli and
you making his life miserable.

The time you met a guy at a Saturday night dance and he thought you were beautiful.   On Sunday he made a surprise visit to  your
house , you answered the door with corn starch on your face and
your hair in curlers.  He turned around and left. 

YOUR ENCOUTNERS WITH THE POLICE, like when , after receiving a $1.00 dollar parking ticket that the town of Ardsley
claimed you never paid, you accused Captain Campbell of the
Ardsley Police Department of being the sweeper and pocketing
the $1.00.  He got very indignant and told you  he was not the
sweeper and if you got another ticket in Ardsley to call him direct
and he would cancel it.

The time you hit the top bumper of a truck delivering fish to 
Pisacano's market causing minor damage to our car and insisted
that the truck driver make out an accident report because the 
bumper on his truck was too high. He told  you, "Lady, I have a 
truckload of fish to deliver" and drove away.  You called the police
to report the driver for leaving the scene of an accident.   The cop
told you to forget it because he would have to ticket you for
causing the accident.

Having a teacher in the 5th grade at School 5 who didn't like you 
and made you put gum on your nose for talking in class which was
almost every day, and then the thrill you got when a visiting teacher, who did like you selected you to join her going from class to class to talk about her trip to Mexico.

Going to Roosevelt High School and how much you hated gym class because you didn't like getting sweaty. As a result coach
Cushman would send you to the principles office where they assigned you to run the mimeograph machine. It got to the point
where you and the principle, Mr, Richards became buddies and were on  a first name basis.

Still in gym class, after faking taking the annual PFI test you and
my cousin Virginia reported achieving  super high numbers, like
50 pull ups and 50 push ups , and then being asked by coach 
Cushman to demonstrate your super powers to the rest of the 
class, and you not even knowing what a pull up or push up was.

Your dad and mom taking you and your uncle Albert on their once
a year journey to Rockaway where you would hang on the ropes,
squealing with joy and shouting "we're swimming."

Still at Rockaway and because your mom burned easily you had
to sit under the boardwalk to eat your sandwiches which soon
became loaded with sand droppings from the boardwalk above.

And finally at Rockway, the year you Uncle Albert almost drowned
and you had to go home before even getting wet, and how mad
you were at Albert.

YOUR WORKING EXPERIENCES:  Stories like when at 15 years
of age, working at the dress factory and having to hide in the bathroom sitting on the pot with your legs raised up high when the
inspectors came around.

Dear sweetheart, today, December 21, 2024 is your birthday and the3rd anniversary of God's angels taking you to Heaven.  God  how I miss you and wish we were together so that I could hold you and sing Happy Birthday to you. There is not an hour that goes by that I don't think of you and remember the wonderful life we shared together.

Some of my most cherished memories are when I remember the 
stories that you used to tell about yourself, stories not in praise of
yourself but humorous stories that brought smiles and laughter,
and exemplified the wonderful humble side of you. Stories like:

When you were 5years old and on the first day of school having to
walk to school by yourself.  When they asked you  your address, which you did not know, you pointed to the house up the street
from the school and said "I live there,"

Being the marble champion of Horatio Street, being proud of 
winning all of the marbles and then being upset with your dad 
for giving them away to the father of a kid that you didn't know.

When you were about 7 years old your dad getting mad at you for
falling down on Halloween night after him telling you not to go out,
Result, you not only got bruised falling down, you got a spanking
from your dad.

When you were in the 2nd grade , going to a Catholic school  and how you looked forward to going to the frequent funeral masses
to get out of going to class. The result was that the next year when
you went back to public school you got left back and had to repeat
2nd grade.

Dear Sweetheart- Today, September 23rd is a SPECIAL DAY of
remembrance.,  It was on this day in 1950, 74 years ago, that we went
out on our first date, and the beginning of our 71 year, 3 month,
27 day journey together.  Thank you for all of those special years
and wonderful memories of our life here on earth together. You are
in my heart every day.  I love and miss you very much.

HAPPY 73rd WEDDING ANNIVERSARY IN HEAVEN
Sweetheart, YOU made June 24, 1951 the happiest day of my life,
it was the day  you married me.  For the next 70 years, 5 months and27 days here on earth you were my wife,  my sweetheart, and my best friend.  YOU were the BEST wife a man could ever dream of and YOU made everyday a HAPPY DAY.

Today, June 24, 2024 , our 73rd wedding anniversary is a sad day for me because it was 2 years, 6 months and 3 days that God's angels came and took you to heaven. But although we are physically apart, you are still my wife , my sweetheart and  my 
best friend and the wonderful memories that I have of our time
together will live in my heart forever.

On our last anniversary together, June 24, 2021 I gave you and
anniversary card that read:

"Thank you for being the love of my life, the wonderful wife I adore
The person who shares all of my dreams and desires , my plans,
my adventures ,and more
Thank you for being my very best friend , my comforter when things go wrong

Happy Mother's Day Mom.   As always the days are flying by and as Dad says; time goes faster as you get older.  Last night Sarah and the boys came by and had dinner and stayed over night.  Today we will go over to Rob and Maureen's house and have a Mother's Day brunch with their two cute little girls.  Cindy and soon to be married Lindsey will join us with their significant others and I know Monica will be so happy to have all the kids and grandkids together.  This will be two weekends in a row that we are all together, as last week was Aiden's 1st Communion.  I know you are also with us as you made a very strong impression on all of our kids.  So I just want to thank you again for being such a terrific Mom.  You always provided me the guidance, support and direction that has allowed me to be the person that I am.       Say hi to all the others up in Heaven and I miss you every day.

Happy Mother’s Day! Yesterday, I was getting frustrated because after cleaning the house for a few hours I was trying to get the boys, ready and out the door to baseball- but they were just sitting there doing nothing. I thought of you then and how you never complained and took pride and joy in cleaning and caring for your home and family. I remembered your words of wisdom that you only have your kids for a little while so enjoy them. 
Thank you for being the best grandma and setting a good example for how to care for and love your family and home. I love you very much and I am so thankful that I can hear your voice from heaven. Happy Mother’s Day!

Mother's Day 2024- Dear Sweetheart- It is hard to believe that is was 71 years ago that we celebrated your first Mother's Day. You will be happy to know that the 3 boys  that you brought into the world  are outstanding grandfathers. You can be proud of yourself for the men that they have turned out to be.

Charles has 5 grandkid's, 4 boys , Jake, Andrew, Will, Xander and a 
sweet girl Emma.

Bob & Moni have 4 grandkids, , 2 boys, Aiden James, who loves
baseball and Ryan Charles , named after me, THANK U Sarah &
Jimmy.  They also have 3 beautiful grand  daughters, Molly  Grace , who has a smile that lights up a room and Claire Nancy who is 10
months old. Maureen and Robby named her after you and like you
she is beautiful and always smiling, THANK U Maureen and Robby.

Richard became a grandfather to  little boy back on January 11, 2023.  He is one happy kid and smart as a whip. Lauren and Ethan
named him Charles Hayden  after me. THANK YOU Lauren &
Ethan.

On Mother's Day I can't help  but remember the Mother's Day past when we would go to the club and indulge ourselves in the
Mother's Day fiesta.  You always did yourself proud , not only on 
how beautiful you looked but on how many desserts you were able 
to consume-you were the dessert's table public enemy  number 1.
I hope that they have a Mother's Day dessert table in Heaven.

Sweetheart, we were both blessed with wonderful mothers. I hope that they are there celebrating this day with you. Please give them 
my love and thank them for being such GREAT moms. Like you,
they gave 100% of themselves and were GREAT moms 100% of the time. Also give my love and thanks to our grandma's who 
brought our moms into the world, with a special thanks to your
grandma Anna who breathed life into you when you were born.
Without her I would never have had you as my wife.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY in heaven mom!  I hope you can hear me singing "Happy Birthday" to you!  Bobby and I attended a mass in your honor this morning and I couldn't help but feel so lucky and blessed.  God certainly sent me not only my wonderful husband, but I also got the best mother in law in the world as part of the deal  (and of course father-in-law too!)  I said extra prayers to our lady, because I know you had a very special devotion to Mary.  You always prayed to her because you said that as a mother, she  knew what was in your heart.  You followed her example as a selfless mother and were a wonderful example that I try to live up to!  I miss you mom but I always feel your presence around me. Hey Mom, hard to believe it has already been 2 years since you passed.  December 21 was always a day to celebrate as it was YOUR birthday and now we will always remember it for two reasons, one happy and one very sad.  There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you and Dad and the love that you had for each other.  The special way you cared for your "boys" and that we knew you always had our back and would do anything for the family.  

Yesterday I dropped Monica off to baby sit for Claire Nancy and Rob and Maureen went to work.  Molly insisted that Monica drop her off at day care so for the first time I was alone with Claire Nancy.  She is truly an angel.  She sat in my lap and I walked her around and I told her about you and what a special person she was named after.  I kept thinking that at any second she would start to fuss and for 45 minutes she just was content to sit and let me be with her.  It was a special time and I am so happy she was named after you as now your memory will live on in that little girl.

Tomorrow would have been your 94th birthday. It's hard to believe that two years have passed since you went to heaven. Not a single day goes by without me thinking of you several times, wishing I could call you and hear your voice.

As I used to say on your birthday, thank you for being such a great mom and grandma. Thank you for all the beautiful things you did for Lauren and me over the years. I'm grateful for the many beautiful memories I have of you, from my earliest childhood memories up to the bitter end.

I know you are with your mom and dad and seeing other loved ones. Know that you are dearly missed by the family you left behind and that I wish you a happy birthday in heaven.

DECEMBER 21, 2023 - HAPPY 94TH BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN
TO MY SWEETHEART-  CONTINUATION OF OUR FIRST DATE

My folks were in the process of remodeling the house and it was a
mess with broken plaster and sheets hanging off the walls. To
make matter worse my mom and dad had just gotten home from
a wedding  and when we got to the  house my dad was laying on the floor singing "take off the coat"  and my mom , feeling no pain,
with her hat sitting cockeyed on her head, asked us to get my dad
into bed. Thru it all you just smiled. Only God knows what you were  thinking.  That evening  we went to the Tappan Zee restaurant for dinner where after one sip of wine you got a little
tipsy  and needed my sister's help to find your way out of the 
mirrored lady's room. We then went to the 42nd Street cocktail
lounge where we danced and then went to play miniature golf where you were concerned that they wouldn't let you out without
paying for the ball  which at the end of the round automatically
went back to the ball bin.  I got you home around 11:00PM and asked you if you would go out with me again. To my relief you said
yes, and so ended our first date and the beginning of our 71 year
journey together.

Sweetheart, you made September 23 , 1950 one of the best days
of my life.  For the next 71 plus years you gave 100% of yourself
to me and the boys and NEVER asked for anything for yourself.
You were, and STILL ARE, my SWEET HEART,  MY WIFE AND MY
MY BEST FRIEND and I miss you so much.  

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN I PRAY THAT SOMEDAY WE WILL BE TOGETHER FOREVER.  I LOVE YOU MY SWEETHEART.

To my sweetheart on her 94th birthday in heaven 12/21/23.
Sweetheart , it is hard to believe that it was 2 years ago that God
took you to Heaven to be with your mom and dad.  When I think of 
you, which is every hour of every day,  I can't help but remember
how much you suffered and how you asked God to take you, and 
how He answered your prayers at 12:04AM on your 92nd 
birthday.   But birthdays are supposed to be happy days, so on this
birthday, let us go down memory lane together and  remember how we met and our first date.  

HOW WE MET-It was a hot day in August 1950 as I was driving up
Lockwood Avenue when I saw you waiting for the bus to take you to work. I immediately turned around and asked you  if you needed a ride. I saw that you were reluctant to get into the car but you told
me that you were late for work and said yes.  The first thing that 
I noticed was that in the bag you were carrying you had a smelly,
and I mean smelly  egg salad sandwich, for which you apologized.
But we hit it off as if we had known each other for years and when
I asked you if you would go with me , my sister and best  friend
Craig to see the Fordham/Yale football game on September 23rd
to my surprise  you said yes.  Little did I know that you had never
been to a football game and didn't  know a football from a turnip
(That ever changed in our 70 plus years of marriage)

OUR FIRST DATE-September 23, 1950
On the day of the game you looked absolutely beautiful  and I was
so proud of you. In spite  of never having been to a football game 
before you seemed to have fun , especially when the crowd did the
wave.  After the game I took you to my house to meet my mom and 
dad. This could have been an end of month event.

Dear Mom,

Today is Wednesday, November 29th.  It is no one’s birthday and no holiday!  I just want you to know you are in my thoughts every day – not just on “occasions”!  The simplest things will bring happy thoughts of you to mind.  I might be vacuuming and remember how you bought me vacuums for my bridal shower.  The twins just told me they want to go to an Italian restaurant for their birthday dinner this year and I laugh to myself thinking of your reaction when we told you at Mama Leone’s that we were having twins!  At lunch yesterday Bobby and I reminisced about your delicious grilled ham and cheese sandwiches with bacon and tomatoes!  If Bobby starts to watch the Giants, it brings to mind all those Sundays we would be on the phone while he and dad were in front of their tvs either cheering or booing the team!  I could go on and on but I just want to let you know for no special reason that I love and miss you.

And…don’t worry about dad.  He misses you horribly but stays the strong, wonderful man with the great sense of humor that you always loved.  (And luckily his Giants finally won this week!)

I just wanted you to know that the very first thing I thought about this morning on my 66th birthday was you Mom.  I really miss talking to you and seeing that great smile, especially today.  You were  a terrific Mom and your influence and love has had a tremendous impact on me and the family that Monica and I have built.   You and Dad were both such a great combination that I was so blessed to have been born into.  Love you both.

JUNE 24, 2023-HAPPY 72nd  ANNIVERSARY IN HEAVEN.
Sweetheart, it was a year and a half ago that God's angels came and took you to heaven. Everyday I pray that you are there with your mom and dad.  Not and hour  goes by that I don't think  of you, sometimes with a smile, thinking of our wonderful life together, but more often , with a tear thinking of how you suffered those last years and how much I miss you.  For more than 71 years here  on earth you were my wife, sweetheart , and best friend. Today, June 24, 2023 , we
are celebrating our 72nd wedding anniversary, physically apart  but
spiritually together.  Today, even though we are apart, you are still my
wife, sweetheart, and best friend. God how I wish that we could relive just one of our yesterday's today.  On our last anniversary together , June 24, 2021, you were hurting physically and emotionally  but in spite of the hurt you never complained, On that 
day I wrote you the following  letter-TO THE LOVE OF MY LIFE-HAPPY 70th ANNIVERSARY. "Everything I ever needed in life I have  found in you. For 70 plus years you have filled my life with pride, joy,
happiness, and most of all LOVE.   Everyday I THANK  GOD for you,
and   I want you to know that I love you today as I did on the wonderful day, June 24, 1951 when we got married. I LOVE YOU
SWEETHEART, ALWAYS HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL, AND MAY WE
ALWAYS BE TOGETHER FOREVER-HAPPY ANNIVERSARY." 

Sweetheart, I want you to know that today, June 24, 2023, our 72nd
anniversary, like everyday, you are in my heart and mind.  There are
no words that I can say to express how much I miss you , love you ,
and want to be with you. Hopefully  someday we will be together forever, till then HAPPY ANNIVERSARY IN HEAVEN. I LOVE YOU.
PS-Sweetheart, while this day was one of the happiest in our lives,
it was also one of the saddest  ,it was the day your WONDERFUL dad  
passed away. I know that he is there with you . Please thank  him and your mom for all they did for us.

   Thinking of you this Mother’s Day and always. I sure do miss our talks and I think about you all the time while I clean my home- trying my best but wishing I could ask you for advice. As a fellow boy mom you know all to well the laundry produced by baseball practices and games and all the driving around. I hope you are proud of me. 
Please say hello and welcome my dear friend, Kathy Dillon “Mrs D,” a very special mother who passed last week. I am sure you remember us talking about her and you have met her multiple times over the years.

Happy Mother's Day Mom.  As I start my day at 4am, thanks to Grand  Ma, I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and wishing I could call you and talk to you today.  You would always answer the phone in a low voice, Hello, as you where not sure who it was and did not want to give away any information.  Then I would say, Hey Mom its Bobby and I could hear the smile on your face and you would say in a loud happy voice,  "HEY BOBBY" and then in a very concerned tone. " is everything ok?  Are the kids and Monica ok" and once I assured you everything was fine I could hear the sigh and you would always say, "Thank God".

I also wanted to let you know I was thinking of Annie.  You and I were very fortunate (as was Dad) to have amazing mothers that were always there for us, put the family in front of everything else, yet we all knew where the line was on good and bad behavior.  

I cannot thank you enough for the love you showed me my  and then to my entire family.  You and Dad set the example of how to raise a family and all I ever tried to do was follow that blueprint.  While Dad worked his butt off to provide for us and never felt like we needed anything, you were there running the house, taking care of the food,  the clothes, the house and making sure we stayed on the right path.

Your mark on this world is still being felt.  I miss you every day and Thank GOD for you being MY mom, the best anyone could ask for.

You instilled in him a strong sense of values, hard work, and an appreciation for all gifts God has given to him in life.  I know he feels blessed to have had you and dad as parents.  I certainly feel lucky that I got to have you for my mother-in-law.  You never treated me as an “in-law” but made me feel loved as your own.   I am sending you all my love this Mothers Day.  I know my own wonderful mother is there with you - I feel so grateful that I was given the gift of  two wonderful mothers for role models!!

Hi Mom, 

I just read Dad’s note which made me reflect on what a great mom you were to me.  There are countless memories of you being there for me through the good and bad times.  I will never forget how you made me feel better with just a few words or a hug.  Having you in my corner was the best support I could have ever asked for or needed.

I’m glad that you and Dad decided to keep me even though I was supposed to be a girl, and I know that I was not the easiest of the boys to raise.  My teenage years were more than challenging for you, but you never once showed anything but love and support.

I and the rest of the family miss you, and I know you know that I think about you every day.  I love you, Mom, and I want to wish you a Happy Mother's Day, and please tell the rest of the clan up there I said hello.

Happy Mother's Day Sweetheart. Although you are not  here in body
I want you to know that  today, like ever day, you are here with me in
memory and spirit.  If there is a Mother's Hall of Fame, you are in it.
You brought 3 great son's into this world and you can be very proud
of them. They are not only wonderful son's but , thanks to you, they
are great father's and grandfather's.  It was Sep't 10, 1952 when 
Charles was born, and while I was not there with you I still recall
the stories of the painful hours of labor that you went thru to bring
all 10lbs, 6oz of him into this world. I remember Nov 11, 1957 .when
Bob born. , being called at work to rush to the hospital because you were  in labor and there were serious complications. Arriving at the
hospital in time to see you being wheeled into the operating room
to have a cesarean procedure done, this was at a time when the
procedure were considered dangerous.  As I kissed you I wondered
if I would ever see you alive again.  And finally on Sept 2, 1965 ,
Richard was born,  via cesarean,  the only problem was that he was
supposed to be a girl, but we decided to  keep him anyway.  The years 
that followed  were some of the happiest and challenging days of your life-being a mother, and what a great mother you were.  Sure,
there were days of stress, aggravation, frustration,  and feeling 
unappreciated but thru it all you started and ended each day with a
smile. You were always there for the boys and me. You did it for one
reason, YOU LOVED US, and for this, all I can say is THANK YOU.

Like our son's being blessed with the best mom in the world, we  were blessed with GREAT MOMS, mom's who sacrificed for us the
way you sacrificed for our son's .  In life the 3 of you along great,
I know that the 3 of you are together in heaven.  To the 3 of 
you, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.  I MISS AND LOVE YOU SWEETHEART.

I read the beautiful notes the family has written to you today and over the last year, all of which put a big smile on my face. 

As so many others have said, we were so lucky to have had you as our mom, and I can only hope that you are celebrating every day with your mom and dad, who we know meant so much to you. 

While today has been, at times, a day of sadness, I cannot help but be happy for all the great times we've shared over so many decades as a family, thanks to you and Dad.   For this reason, I have reminded myself whenever I've caught myself feeling blue that today is your birthday, and I want to celebrate you and say thank you for being a great mom.  You were always there for me (and all of us) when we needed you.  

It is hard to believe that it has been a year since you've passed, as it feels like yesterday that we were talking together over the phone or going out to eat dinner when we had the opportunity to fly back to North Carolina.  

It goes without saying that I miss you very much every day.

Dear Mom,

We just came back from the mass we had said in your honor.  While I was in church, I thought how grateful I am knowing you are happy in heaven with God, Mary (whom you had a special devotion to) your mom and dad, and my mom and dad.  Thankfully, all your earthly pain and suffering are over.  Naturally, you are in our thoughts today on your birthday and the anniversary of your death.  But… you are in our thoughts EVERY day.  It is amazing how many times one of us will say something and it ends with “Remember when mom ….” Or someone will use one of your many expressions like “Go with the Flow” etc.. I have daily reminders around my home of so many of our good times – first thing in the morning and last thing at night when I turn on/off the lamp that you had the man at Coopers Furniture throw in when you bought us all our bedroom furniture – or when I look in the hall mirror that you talked him in to giving us when we bought our living room furniture.  (You were quite the deal maker when it came to getting things for your kids!) How many times a day do I look at the fruit on my counter that you bought us and think about how much fun we had on our shopping trip to get it?   All around the house are pictures of many of the happy occasions we shared throughout the years.  Strongest of all are the memories of the beautiful, seventy year marriage you had with Dad.  As always, he is a role model we all aspire to.  He misses you so much, but (and maybe it is for our sake) he continues to keep busy, makes trips to see your kids, grandkids and great grandkids, and worries about others more than himself.

I love you so much mom and am so grateful to have had you in my life.  I know you are in heaven watching out for all of us.

Hi Grandma,
   You know back in the 90's I always used to watch Greg's Bar Mitzvah video. I had not seen in YEARS but I came across it two weeks ago while I was packing up my house. So of course I had to show the boys it. This time I watched it with a different purpose- to see you. In these last few years you asked me "don't remember me this way." And as I watched the video, I saw the you I remembered. I saw your bright smile, heard your infectious laugh, watched you danced carefree with Grandpa,  the video even recorded you saying (to Greg) I love you and I am proud of you... something you never failed to remind us of. 
    It is hard to believe it has been a year without you here on Earth. But not a day goes by I don't think of you- whether it is as I look down at the rings on my fingers, making something "just so," cleaning a room, recalling a childhood memory, or passing on advice you told me to you your great grandsons. 
   Thank you for the unexpected signs-  of your perfume suddenly filling the air and having my father-in-love come to Ryan in a dream and saying how he met you. 
    I love you so much Grandma. Today we celebrate your birthday/ anniversary in Heaven. How lucky I am to have had someone so wonderful who made saying goodbye so hard. 

Mom, it is hard to believe that it has already been a year since you left us, and we all know you are in Heaven with your Mom and Dad.  You were a great Mother that raised 3 boys who have grown into men that you and Dad can be very proud of.   But we all know that you did everything for us to ensure that we always were loved, respectful and grateful for what we had.  Your relationship with Dad was in a word, amazing.  The love and caring that you had for each other was something that all of us strive for.  It was a great love story that has lived on and will be remembered for a very long time by your family. 
We know you suffered the last year you were with us, but my memories of you will go back to our days in Armonk where you were the best Mom a son could have.  Even though you never taught me to make a bed, the life lessons were many.  One that I will always remember is you saying is that your children will grow up and have their own families, but your spouse will be with you forever.  This is something that you lived every day and I could not agree with our more.  I have been blessed with a person in my life that reminds me of your dedication to family and willingness to sacrifice.  You accepted Monica into our family as your daughter and there were  times I think you loved her more than me, (just kidding).
We all miss you Mom and are taking as good of care of Dad as we can, but honestly, he is an amazing person who is doing really good, but we all know he misses you every minute of the day.  But he keeps going and is the leader of our family.  
Going now to Mass that is being said in your name.  Just wanted you to know I am thinking of you on this day and every day.

December 21st.  To my SWEETHEART NANCY-Today is a day that  is
VERY SPECIAL in my life because it was on a cold winter day in 1929 that God sent his angels to deliver you to your mom and dad.  It is also the day, one year ago that   God sent his angels to take you
back to heaven. Needless to say I am so sorry that we are  no longer together, but I know how much you suffered the last years of your 
life and how many times you asked "Why doesn't God  want me?"
In my heart I know that you are in heaven and all of your pain and
grief is over and that you are happy there with your wonderful mom and dad, and maybe even your two sisters. During our last days together you kept telling me that after your gone you want me to 
be happy and go on with my life, sweetheart , I want you to know that
I am going on with my life , one day at a time,  and that you are with 
me in memories and spirit. But WITHOUT YOU in my life, I can never be happy.  Hardly an hour  goes by that I don't think of you and recall the many wonderful memories of our 70 plus years together.  But no
memories could ever replace you and your beautiful smile, your tender touch, your dedication to being the BEST wife  and mother,
hearing you breathing softly in bed at night, the beautiful fragrance of your perfume, and most of all , your words "I LOVE YOU". Recently I found a CD of Gregg's Bah Mitzvah  that we watch together.
You are wearing a black and white dress  and look beautiful and very happy.  For me the best part is when we are dancing  together  to a 
song, "Only You Can Make My Dream's Come True."  Sweetheart  no words or song could be more fitting.  Because of you, all of my dreams have come true, and I pray that someday my dream of being 
TOGETHER FOREVEVER in heaven with you will come true.  HAPPY

  Today is Thanksgiving . Some of my earliest memories were flying down to North Carolina to spend the holiday with you and Grandpa. I also believe there were several years where I insisted on sitting underneath the table because I hated the sight of turkey. Well I still don't like turkey but now people think it is weird if I am sitting under the table eating yams- plus there are too many dogs. Your house was also where I developed my love for the Macy's Day Parade (which as you know I was later in). After dad and grandpa were done watching football we would all sit down to watch whatever cartoon Christmas special was on TV. 
   Just as it was so often, today's Grandpa's birthday falls on Thanksgiving. I remember the one year you gave him trick candles and I completely freaked out. I was a real jerk sometimes. I am so glad I was able to get down to see both of you last November and once again sing happy birthday to Grandpa for his 92nd. 
   Well Grandma I miss you. Today and always I am thankful for you and all the memories we shared. Love you!

Sweetheart, Today, September 23 , 2022, is the 72 anniversary of
our first date back in 1950, and what was the beginning of our 
wonderful life together.  On that beautiful Saturday, together with
my sister Cleda and Craig, we  drove to  New Haven to see the
Fordham/Yale football game, little did I know that you had never been to a football game and didn't know the difference between a
football and a ping pong ball.   You  looked absolutely beautiful and
I was so very proud of you. When we got to the game I bought you
a small corsage to put on your wrist. Although you had never been to a game before you got right into the spirit of the game, especially when the crowd did the wave, Fordham lost 21/14, but I didn't care
because I was with the mot beautiful girl in the Yale Bowl . After the game we went to my house for you to meet my folks.  To my dismay
they had just gotten home from a wedding and were both drunk
as skunks.  My dad was lying on the floor singing "Take off the Coat"
and my mom with her hat half cocked on her head was floundering 
around. Together we got my dad to bed.  Only you and God knows 
what you were thinking about my mom and dad, but bless you sweet-
heart you took it all in stride and just smiled. I knew then that you were special. That evening we went to the Tappen Zee restaurant
for dinner, you had a small sip of some kind of alcoholic beverage
and proceeded to get tipsy.  Together with my sister you went to the
ladies room and then couldn't find your way out because the room
was all mirrors .After dinner we went to pay miniature golf.  At the last hole the ball went down the hole and back to the ball bin, you got all upset because you thought they would accuse you of stealing the ball. Needles to say we all laughed . I got you home around midnight
and there on your front porch we kissed  goodnight, our first kiss, which I have always remembered.  What a WONDERFUL WAY to end our first date, and the beginning of MANY WONDERFUL YEARS TO  COME
 

AUGUST 26, 2022-THIS IS A CONTINUATION OF SARAH'S LETTER
TO MY SWEETJEART.

Before you sent us away to continue your chores and watch your
soap operas,  I would open your pantry to take in the wonderful
smells. While playing in the pool you thoughtfully brought out
Soft Batch cookies, Flintstone push pops or dixie  cups with
sprinkles and whip cream.  When our visit came to an end , you
and grandpa would hold hands and wave goodbye in the  driveway
with a tear in your eye. As I got older  , I got to appreciate the 'fairytale love you and grandpa share. The love has evolved and changed over your 70years together. But has no doubt grown stronger over time. The love you share will be the source of inspiration for generations to come- I will be sure to share it.
With my insistent family history questions , you would often  answer 
me in the words of your mother "When you r dead , you are dead."
But that is not true, Grandma, the love you  showed, the advice you
gave, the stories you shared will live on  in the hearts of those who 
love you. We will continue to share your stories because your
story is so intertwined with our own, Soon there will no more]
pain and sadness. Your hair and make up will be flawless, and
a lifetime of memories will come flooding back to you.  You will
get to hug your mom and dad, finally meet your  two sisters, laugh
with your cousins, talk with your aunts and uncles and kiss your
grandma,  As you watch over from above know we love and miss
you--but we will be together soon,  I love you Grandma , now and

August 26, 2022, Sweetheart, this is something that I should have done a long time ago- the posting of a letter that our wonderful
granddaughter sent to you a few weeks before  you went away.
Hi Grandma, it is me. your grandaughter Sarah. I wanted to w rite you
a letter since I can't come down to visit. You might not remember
me right now -but that is ok because I remember you. Some of my
earlier memories were coming down to NC to celebrate Thanks-
giving and Grandpa's birthday and of  course our highly anticipated
summer vacations. I loved waking up there and hearing something
delicious on the stove-hoping it was angel food cake, French toast or
Shake and Pour blueberry pancakes. In those early years Great 
Grandma Annie would come in and grab a plate before she headed 
back to her room. Sunshine, your yellow parakeet, would be whistling
away on the plastic covered butcher block countertop. My favorite
time with you was after breakfast. While dad and grandpa were at
golf, you would regale us with stories from your childhood-how Uncle Ernie sang  like Bing Crosby, Uncle Albert ruining your day at the beach by almost drowning your Grandma Nancy reviving you after birth and saving you from being named Philomenia, You would
recall the time you thought you had been swept out to sea only to find yourself screaming "help me" in 2 inches of water surrounded by 
concerned IBM'ers , and how the robber if the tailor shop threw
out your raggedy shawl after you told the insurance company  you had lost your mink coat. I loved how you laughed as told your stories
and I felt as if I had been transported back in time with you. In my own life I have strived to tell stories the way you did . You taught me that even when things don't go the way you planned , don't be  upset
or embarrassed-just look for the funny story embedded in the situation.  Before you sent us a away to continue your chores and watch your soap operas TO BE CONTINED

Happy Anniversary, Grandma!  I know we’ve talked about it before, but I cannot express how amazing it was to see how much you and Grandpa loved each other every day.  You two will always be the ultimate example of selfless love, and you inspire Maureen and me every day.  Maureen, Molly and I miss love and miss you!

Today has been a bitter-sweet day for obvious reasons. While it has been a sad day, I can't help but smile, thinking about the many great times you and Dad shared over so many years.

I can't help but smile whenever I think of Mrs. Guidotti! Her stories were funny enough to make her a successful stand up comedienne but I never heard her embarrass anyone except herself. It was from Mrs. Guidotti that her granddaughter Sarah inherited her ability to make a funny story even more hilarious. Even though she was my sister's mother in law, there was never any competition between Mrs. Guidotti and my mother, who really enjoyed her company.

I remember when I first met her thinking that she was so beautiful, perfectly groomed and elegant. Perhaps she would have been intimidating but her immediate smile and gracious way made her so approachable.  At every occasion she would always turn heads but she only had eyes for Mr. Guidotti.  She was a role model not only in her elegance, but also in her devotion to her husband.

Her grandchildren and my sister Monica (and of course, Bobby) will miss her so much but we, "extended family" feel a loss as well. We've been praying for her and the entire Guidotti family and will always continue to do so.

Nancy you touched so many lives and made so many people smile, I hope you are smiling down on all of us now.  I want to thank you for being so good to my sister Monica.  You and Charlie were phenomenal examples of unconditional love and excellent role models for your family and everyone lucky enough to know you. We know how much you meant to your family and George and I are honored to have been included in some of those wonderful memories.  You will be missed today on what would have been your 71st wedding anniversary and everyday.  

Hey Mom, this June 24th will be unlike any other in my life.  This will be the first one that I will not be able to call you and Dad to wish you a Happy Anniversary.  When Monica and I got married, you and Dad where just a couple of days away from your 29th anniversary and I have to say at that time, I thought that was a long time to be married.  Looking back I realize just how fast time goes and how important it is to enjoy every day and remember one of your key messages.  You always said; your kids grow up and move away and have their own lives, but your spouse will be there forever.  Like Dad, I have been blessed to have married my best friend and could not ask for a better person to spend my life with.  You were a fantastic mom, friend and role model.  Your impact on this family will live on forever.  Love you, miss you,  Bob

Dear Grandma and Grandpa
   This year's anniversary is very different. Though you are not physically next to one another, your hearts and minds are "together forever." Your love transcends death and one day will again be able to hold one another's hand. I wanted to let you know how your love and legacy lives on...
   In preparation for mine and Jimmy's tenth anniversary, yesterday we went to the jewelers and designed an eternity band for me. Grandma, we had them take out the small diamonds in one of the rings that was in your collection. The diamonds will be paired with sapphires and I will wear it on my left hand with my wedding band set. For the rest of my life, it will be a daily reminder of the love you and Grandpa share. Although I hope Jimmy and I don't get to 70 years (because that would make him 109), I pray that we too have many wonderful years together.
   In addition to the eternity band, I am also creating another ring with the remainder of the diamonds to wear on my right hand. This ring is one that is rather unique. In the center will be one of your diamonds and one of Grandma Baker's diamonds with an emerald in between. On either side of the diamonds will be the Celtic trinity knot. Jimmy has this symbol on his arm with the boys' names. It is a sign that the love between a parent and child is everlasting and they are always connected. In this case the ring will symbolize how I am forever connected to you and to Grandma Baker.
    Grandma, I miss you so much. Grandpa, I hope today you have a moment where you are able to feel her presence and love for you. Sending all my love to both of you on this special day

Forty two years ago today I married your son, Bobby.  We have had a wonderful life together.  I want to thank you and dad for giving us the example of what a perfect marriage looks like and for raising  Bobby to be the man he is today.  We miss you and think of you every day.

Sunday, June 24, 1951, was the happiest day of my life, that was the day you became my wife , the beginning of our beautiful journey of 70 years, 5 months, and 27 days together.

Today, June 24th 2022, like every day since December 21, 2021,
the day that God's angels took you away, is a very sad day for me,
sad because today, like everyday since then I am without you , with
only pictures and memories of you to remind me of the love,  joy ,
and happiness that your brought not only into my life but the lives
of the loved ones that you touched

But  as sad as I feel, I THANK GOD for the wonderful 70 plus years
the HE gave us together. When we got married I felt that I was 
marrying the most beautiful girl in the world, beautiful both inside
and out. The girl who was the best friend, companion, and wife a
man could ever have.

In the time we had together you devoted yourself to being THE
BEST wife, mother , and  grandmother that any man could ask for.
In all of that tine you NEVER, EVER, asked for anything for your
self, and many times you sacrificed what you would have liked so 
that I, or the kids, could have what we wanted. Your NEVER , EVER
complained  , but always  put us first and committed yourself to doing the best that you could with what I was able to provide. 

Sweetheart, I can't begin to tell you how much I miss you. I miss the
simple things shared and did, like eating together, sitting out in the
garage feeding the squirrels  and birds,  and going to bed together. I miss your touch, that beautiful fragrance of your perfume , but most of all I miss your words,  I LOVE YOU.

 I pray that you are in heaven with, your mom and dad, and maybe 
       even your two sisters, but most of all I pray that we will be 
        TOGETHER FOREVER .  I LOV E YOU MY SWEETHEART.

It has been a different kind of Mother's day this year.   It goes without saying that I've been thinking of you and counting my blessings for having had such a great mom.   You are missed but certainly not forgotten.  I hope and suspect that you are with your mom and all the other loved ones that had gone before.

Mom,
It has been just over two months since you passed away, and I don’t think an hour of the day has passed that I haven’t thought about you or wish I could pick up the phone and say, “hi and to tell you in person; that I love you.”

The bond between a mother and son is both unique and arguably unbreakable. As Sarah referenced in her note to you, you were not only the matriarch to our family but our friend, and speaking just for myself, the person in my life that knew me better than anyone ever could. I am so grateful to you (and dad) for all of the support and love you showed me throughout our time together. We had so many great memories filled with laughter throughout the years, which I cherish while remembering through my most difficult times you being there to help me just in the manner I needed.

We used to laugh together when we would reminisce about Grandma Annie and how she would often time remind us that “when you’re dead, you’re dead”. Over the years and watching so many others pass along to their next life, I’ve learned that Grandma’s statement was partially correct as I now say to myself, “when you’re dead, you are dead but not forgotten by those who love you.”

Mom, you will never be forgotten by any of us, and know that I’m forever grateful for being so lucky to have had you as my mom. I look forward to seeing you again on the other side and telling you how much I’ve missed you, but I sure do hope that doesn’t come anytime soon.

Hey Mom, I just want you to know how much we miss you and not just on Mother’s Day but every day.  This is your first Mother’s Day in Heaven, and you are now with your parents and all your aunts and uncles, so I know you are happy but sad at the same time.  
Your focus and dedication to the family was something that we all learned a great lesson from.  The relationship you had with Dad was the foundation for my life and you will never fully appreciate the love and respect I had for you.  I always knew that if I needed something, you would drop everything and support me in any way you could.
That is another lesson that you delivered by leading by example on how to be a great parent and friend.

Dear Mom,

I can’t even begin to thank you for being my mother (not just mother-in-law) for over 41 years.  In all those times I can never remember a single time we felt anything but love for each other.  From the first time I met you, you always made me feel important and loved.  I knew I could always count on you for support and understanding.  

I thank you especially for raising your son to be the man he is.  You made it clear that your spouse should always come first. I am so grateful that we had you and dad as the PERFECT role model of what a marriage should be.  

I will miss all our “girl talks” and our visits.  My memories of all we shared and meant to each other will be forever treasured.  

I know you are with my mom and dad and they are thanking you for taking good care of me for all those years they were not here.  (Give them a kiss from me)

For 39 years you sang me "happy birthday" on the phone. Last week I turned 40. I received many calls and emails... but one was missing. For the first time in my life I not get my song from you or a beautiful card from you telling me how proud you are of me. (Of course Grandpa sent one, but I felt your absence).  I consider myself blessed to have had you in my life for 39 years. Although we live far away you have and alway will  been close in my heart. Love you Grandma, I miss you. 

TO MY SWEETHEART- It's been several months since the angels came and took you to Heaven, and every day I cry because I miss you so much. In life we were 
married for 70 years , 5 months, and 21 days , and you made every day a happy day. You were the best wife, friend  and companion that a man could ever have, THANK YOU MY SWEETHEART.

I know that the last few years were very tough for you and that you suffered a lot
both physically and emotionally, but you never complained, surrendered , or gave
up, but fought on every day and made it to your 92nd birthday.  Back on November
26, 2019 you wrote me a letter in which you apologized to me for' 'turning out this 
way " and asked me to "remember you the way you once were". My sweetheart, I
have pictures from the past of us together around the  house . IN EVERY PICTURE you are beautiful, but one of the pictures I treasure the most is the one taken on November 21, 2022 , one month before you left me. In the picture you are in mom's room with Rich and me and my HAPPY BIRTHDAY balloon hanging in the background, SWEETHEART, you are as beautiful as ever and I loved you on that day as much as I did on our wedding day, June 24,1951

I visit you at the mausoleum at least once a week , usually on Saturday or
Sunday, I look forward to our visits but to tell you the truth it is very difficult,
I sit there talking to you knowing that the only thing separating us is a thin
marble stone, I would give anything if only I could reach out and hold you
one more time-I MISS YOU SO MUCH.

As you know  on our stone it reads 'TOGETHER FOREVER". As I write this
I pray that you are with your mom and dad and that someday we will be 
TOGETHER FOREVER.  I LOVE YOU MY SWEETHEART
