Pauline Williamson Bannister, 86, passed away September 5, 2010. She was born in Clarksville, VA on August 8, 1924 to Fuller B. and Matie Sizemore Williamson. Mrs. Bannister was the owner of Cary Printing. She was a loving mother and grandmother as well as a best friend to her children. She will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her children, Charles S. Yancey, Stanley S. Yancey, Timothy S. Bannister, Jaymee B. May and Jimmie S. Bannister; grandchildren, Steven Yancey, Ryan Bannister, Hunter Bannister, Jordan May and Dillon May; and sister, Virginia Elliott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Bannister, in 1987.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Cary.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the funeral home.
