

Ray is survived by his wife of 19 years, Elizabeth LaBelle of Cary, NC; two step-sons, Charles W. Bolibaugh and wife, Desiree, Jerry A. Bolibaugh; one grandson, Devon W. Bolibaugh; mother, Dorothy LaBelle; five sisters, Carole Nemeth, Kathy Errante, Sharon Dzierwa, Patrice Dzierwa, and Denise Nadeau.
A member of the Bahá’í Faith for 30 years, Ray embraced its teachings: the oneness of mankind, the common foundation of all religions, equality of men and women, elimination of all forms of prejudice, and selfless service to his fellow man. He served as a devoted member of the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Eliot, ME, and the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Cary, NC. He dedicated ten years as Administrator of Green Acre Bahá’í School, restoring several historic properties on its campus in Eliot, ME Since moving to North Carolina in 1996, he had been active in real estate investments, and served on the Board of Directors and as President of TREIA, the Triangle Real Estate Investors Association. A Rotarian for over 30 years, Ray, a Paul Harris Fellow, was a member in the Cary-Page Rotary Club, and formerly of the clubs in Luddington, MI, and Kittery, ME.
A private graveside service will be held for the family. Friends and associates are invited to a memorial program in the Fine Arts Building at Cary Academy on Saturday, September 11 at 3 pm. A reception will follow.
