Richard was born April 4th, 1946, in Utica, NY, to the late Howard Freeborn and Marjorie Carpenter Freeborn.
Richard loved life, laughter, people and collecting things. A day in the sun was what made him the happiest, that and watching old silent films with his good friend.
Richard is survived by his wife, Laurrie Wolfe, of Raleigh; Kristine Yates, Tricia Needle, Eric Freeborn and a brother and two sisters.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday March 19th, 2016 at 4 Pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. The family will receive friends following the service.
