Robert T. Connick, 87, of Cary, NC passed away on December 20, 2012. He was born in New Rochelle, NY to William and Gertrude Desmond. He served in the Navy during WWII. He was an active member and past Exalted Ruler of the Cary-Apex Elks, was a volunteer at Rex Hospital for over 10 years and was also an avid bowler.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Madeline, and his children, Bob and wife, Ann, Debi and husband, Joe, and Dotsy and husband, Dave. He also has 3 grandchildren, Robby, Robin and Lauren.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary, NC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimers North Carolina, 1305 Navaho Dr., Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27609.
