Robynne French Brown of Raleigh NC, born on August 13, 1966, transitioned from her earthly home to her eternal home in paradise on February 1, 2019. Robynne was married to Donnie Leon Brown. She has two sons, Donnie Leon Brown II (Katherine) & Dillon Ney Brown (Krista). She has two grandchildren Kinsley & Chadwick, with one more on the way: Emma-Kate.
After graduating from Bishop McGinnis High School in Winston-Salem NC she attended Louisburg Junior College where she received an Associate Degree and was a runner-up Homecoming Queen. After graduation she and Donnie, whom she met at Louisburg, were married and they made their home in Raleigh. After the two boys started school, she became involved with Wake Christian Academy (WCA) and was named the Administrative Assistant to the Athletic Director. She served faithfully in that position for 16 years. Upon leaving WCA she began a career in real estate. In just her first year with Fonville Morisey Real Estate she received the company’s prestigious President’s Club Award. Eventually she joined Keller Williams Realty where she continued her successful career in the real estate business. Donnie, Donnie II and Dillon serve as fireman for the Raleigh Fire Department, where they are following in the footsteps of Titus Leon Brown, or “Pa” as he is affectionately referred to by the family.
Robynne is survived by her mother Susan Whitfield (Pastor JB), her brother Rick French, two sisters, Jennifer Cooley (Troy), Kristy Leab (Pastor Chris) and several nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces & nephews.
Robynne possessed a magnetic and jovial personality that profited her to have numerous friendships in her life. She exhibited what it took to be a really good friend. She never met a stranger, and could talk with anyone. When she told jokes, she would laugh harder at the punch line than anyone else. To all the lives that Robynne touched, she will truly be missed but always lovingly remembered.
Robynne was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. She loved attending worship with her family. In her last year of overcoming the physical struggle she was enduring, she & Donnie would worship at home with the Agape Faith Church family via the internet.
