

Born in Lewistown, PA he was the son of the late Ray and Margaret Farrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by many aunts and uncles; and his father and mother-in-law, Mervin (Red) and Betty Little.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Farrell; children Elliott (Sara) Farrell, Zebulun Farrell, Hadley Farrell; grandchildren, Peter and Raleigh Farrell; a beloved dog, Rosalie; siblings, Barry (Beth) Farrell and Stacey (Don) Hannon.
Ron loved his King Jesus. He was an active member of Fairview Baptist Church in Apex, NC. Ron was a 3 time alumni from The Pennsylvania State University. He was an avid sports fan with his favorites being PSU football, wrestling and Carolina Hurricanes hockey. He loved to hike, read, spend time with his family, vacation in the Outer Banks, and Disney. Ron enjoyed a good, top shelf scotch.
He worked for over 40 years at Flowserve Inc, designing valves and actuators for commercial and nuclear power plants.
A memorial service will be held at Fairview Baptist Church on Saturday January 15th at 10:00AM. Masks will be required. The family is asking to honor Ron’s love of sports please wear navy blue (PSU) hunter green (Chief Logan high school) anything Penn State or Carolina Hurricanes.
