Sue Ann Stines, 78, died Sunday, June 19, 2011. She was born October 14, 1932 in Pickens Co, SC to the late William and Flora (Aiken) Whitlock. A devoted mother and grandmother who found delight in the joy of others, especially children.
Sue is survived by a son, Billy Stines (Susan) of Erwin, NC, daughters, Joy Russell (Kevin) of Scottsdale, AZ, Judy Stines of Raleigh, NC; grandsons, Steven and David Russell, Jeffrey and Bryan Stines; brother, Bobby Whitlock (Martha), sisters, Ellaree Elrod (Rev. James), Mary Chambers, Elizabeth Lindsay, Jean Campbell.
Sue was predeceased by her husband, Bill Stines and brothers, Troy and Kenneth Whitlock.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2011 at Ephesus Baptist Church in Raleigh. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. at the church.
