Toby Rita Laderman

Toby grew up in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where she was actively involved in the family business. Prior to her marriage, she lived and worked in Boston and New York City. Once married, she lived in Maryland and North Carolina. She devoted her time to raising her family and being a full-time homemaker, which prepared her for what became her favorite job, being a grandmother! Toby loved to travel with her family and delighted in preparing Sunday dinners at her home for the family. She had a soft spot for animals and loved to play word games. She enjoyed spending her time with extended family and always had a bed and a meal ready for any incoming visitors.

Toby was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Ross Laderman. Toby is survived by her two children, Marcie (Tom) and Steven (Johanna), her five grandchildren, Jessica, Morgan, Sarah, Ethan, and Alisa, and her three great-grandchildren, Marcelo, Mateo, and Maddox.

Toby’s request for a graveside service will be held Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC, 27612.

Toby will be forever missed by everyone who she touched. Her love and devotion for spending time with family will be a guiding light for those of us left behind.
