She is survived by her mother, Melba Strother Mitchell; sister, Valerie Wiltshire; and brother, Richard.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00pm on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511.
The family will receive friends at Westover United Methodist Church, 300 Powell Drive, Raleigh, NC 27606 beginning at 1:00pm on Monday, November 17, 2014 followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm.
Entombment will be at Montlawn Memorial Park.
