Allen Ray Sorchik, age 85, passed away peacefully on 3/24/25, and is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Allen was born on 7/17/39 in Johnstown, PA to Herbert Christ and Anna Marie Christ, and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Walter Sorchik.
Allen is survived by his loving sister Marcia Ann Sorchik of Sayre, PA and his stepdaughters Michelle (nee Vile) Karlsson (Eric), Christine (nee Vile) Shirk (Zach), grandsons Quint and Creigh Karlsson, granddaughters Sydney and Kenzie Shirk, and many in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Debbie, his parents, and his brother Richard H. Christ. He will be missed by many.
Allen was a proud Marine and served from 1956-1961. He married his wife Debbie in 1999 and they spent many years traveling the country in their RV before finally settling down in Casa Grande, AZ. Allen loved camping and spending time with his family.
Allen will be buried with Military Honors at the National Veteran’s Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ, alongside his late wife Debbie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Chapel of Casa Grande in his memory.
