AK-CHIN - Angelica Salas-Vargas (Ws Tiny) 24, passed away on January 2, 2026 in Maricopa, AZ. She was born on December 15, 2001 in Chandler, AZ to Corrina R. White of Ak-Chin and Jose Guadalupe Salas-Vargas of Jalisco, Mexico.
She is survived by her parents, two sons, both of Maricopa, the oldest, Zachariah Patten. Grandmother Bernadette White. Two brothers: Jose Salas-Vargas, Jr. and Augustine Salas-Vargas. Two sisters: Josefina Salas-Vargas and Perris-Jade White, and a nephew, Romeo Jensen, all of Ak-chin. Including her paternal side of the family in Mexico. She passed with family by her side. So young and precious, she’ll be greatly missed.
Her wake service will be on Friday, Jan 16 @ 4pm at the home of her grandmother. Funeral service Saturday, Jan 17 @ 8am at the Ak-Chin Cemetery.
