CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — Donna Lucille Milligan McMahon, 80, a lifelong resident of Casa Grande, passed away peacefully at her home on August 19, 2025, surrounded by love.
Born on April 21, 1945, Donna lived a life defined by curiosity, devotion, and a deep love for family. She attended Carl Hayden High School and later returned to Casa Grande, graduating from Casa Grande Union High School in 1963. On July 31, 1964, she married Joe McMahon in Casa Grande — the beginning of a 61-year journey marked by unwavering partnership, adventure, and joy.
Throughout her life, Donna embraced every season with energy and passion. In her earlier years, she found joy in scuba diving, riding motorcycles, exploring the outdoors, and driving off-road vehicles. She was an avid tennis player and a lifelong lover of history.
In more recent years, her interests turned toward quieter pursuits — quilting, genealogy, and family research. Her dedication to preserving her family’s legacy led her to become a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), where she honored the past while nurturing connections for future generations.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Joe McMahon; her sons, Rick McMahon and Robert McMahon; her daughter-in-law, Rachael McMahon; her brother, Wesley Milligan; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will carry forward her memory with deep affection and gratitude.
Services will be held at J. Warren Funeral Services in Casa Grande. The family will announce date and time details.
Donna will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. Her adventurous spirit, sharp mind, and generous heart touched all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to live on in the lives she helped shape and the stories she preserved.
