Jaime was born on January 25th, 1992, to Jaime Salcido and Dorothy Vasquez. Jaime was a devoted husband and father. Jaime was also a funny, kind, caring, and thoughtful individual who stood out from the rest. He was a big man with a big heart and a big ‘ol bear hug to go with it. He was the person you could call if you needed anything, and he would always try to help in any way he could. He was a thoughtful person; he would gift items to people simply because he knew they would like them. He would also stop by for an unexpected visit to sit and chat with you. Jaime was a former preschool teacher aide; he had held many job titles, but working with kids was his passion. He was also an artist; he worked with spray paint, woodworking, and even jewelry making. Jaime made art mainly for himself but also to share with others. He loved music, any kind of music from classical to metal, from horrorcore rap to southern bluegrass. He supported all of it, as well as the many musicians from his family and friends to people he hardly knew. You could find him at a show, cheering them on.
Jaime is survived by his wife Leyla Salcido, his two daughters, Bella and Ariya. His Father, Jaime Salcido, and Stepfather, Ambrose Vasquez. His sisters, Mercedes Salcido and Tashina Salcido, and his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Vasquez.
Wake to be held Friday, September 26th, beginning at 5 pm at Jaime Salcido residence in Ak-Chin Indian Community. Cremation to follow services.
