James Stanley Jones

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Stan Jones. Stan joined our Lord on April 30, 2025, passing away in his sleep in Casa Grande, AZ. Although he battled leukemia, he never lost faith or hope.

James Stanley Jones was born August 17, 1943 to James Otto Jones and Maybelle Clair Wright. Although everyone knew this wonderful man as Stan. Stan enjoyed his work at Agilent Technologies, formerly HP, and spent his entire career there. Stan loved fishing and car racing, racing stock cars for years. After he retired, he spent several years exploring the United States in his RV. He eventually settled in Casa Grande, Az for the winter and Chama, NM in the summer, which allowed him to live within his preferred temperature window all year long.

Stan was a true loving Christian. He was an excellent handyman and shared his skills freely with everyone. He had a kind heart and always spread love.

Stan was blessed with a loving wife and family. He is survived by his soul mate, Naomi Rigas, and his 4 children, Ron and Penny Jones, Polly and Mike Robson, Wendy and David Rogers and Curt Jones. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Josh Jones, Tiffany Jones, Nicole Shinn, Tanner Jones, Kody Robson, Alexander Jones and Dylan Jones, and by 10 great-grandchildren.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents, two younger brothers and his son, Terry Jones.

He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.
