Jesus M Leon-Martinez

January 12, 1941 – July 7, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Jesus M. Leon-Martinez, who departed this life on July 7, 2025, in Casa Grande, Arizona, at the age of 84.

Jesus was born on January 12, 1941, in San Juan, Sonora, Mexico. He married Leticia Caballero in his hometown, and together they shared a lifetime of love and devotion. After spending 43 years in Altar, Sonora, Jesus moved to Casa Grande, Arizona, where he made his home for the last 40 years of his life.

He is survived by his two siblings, Amelia Grijalva and Norberto Celaya, and by his four beloved children: Luz Mercedes Felix, Veronica Icela Felix, Abelardo Leon, and Rafael Leon. Jesus also leaves behind ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored and cherished deeply.

Jesus was preceded in death by his loving wife, Leticia, his sister Maria Grijalva, and his brothers Luis Barragán and Manuel Grijalva.

A man of quiet joy and strong family values, Jesus found happiness in life’s simple moments. He especially enjoyed watching baseball, attending horse races, and spending precious time with his grandchildren.
