

Ray George was born April 24, 1939, to Olaf Weldow George and Blanche Stevens George in Kanosh UT. Ray married Sharon Ann Weems on July 5th, 1962, at the Mesa, AZ temple. His life achievements are remembered by his years as a farmer, beef and woolgrower. Where he tamed the mountains and irrigated the farmlands, installing many of the systems that are still used by the community today. He attended BYU and Cornell University in his academia and was a champion of many trades leading the example of hard work.
Ray would most want you to know his love for his family, God and his dedication to live by and share the gospel. He served a life of dedication to the Church of Jesus Christof Latter-day Saints as a young missionary, bishop, and temple worker (his favorite). Ray’s real impacting gift is not his past but what lives on from him and his influence in our world today. Survived by his 7 children, Steven (Christina), Rodney (Jeccica), Mark (Jolene), Spencer (Carrie), Miles (Denice), Frederick (Pamela), Mary Ann (David), 29 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. His legacy today is measured in a multitude of services including Healthcare, Teachers, Students, Mothers, Fathers, Business makers and deal breakers all who are continuing Ray’s hard work today.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday May 31st, 2025, at 9am. At the LDS Church building located 787 E Kortsen Rd, Casa Grande, AZ 85122. With a burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Casa Grande, AZ.
