Samir received a medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo.
He was married to Mervat Elias.
Samir was an otolaryngologist in Titusville for 37 years.
Samir is survived by his wife, Mervat; daughter, Sally Elias Keszey and son-in-law Stephen Keszey; grandchildren, Sophia Hanna, Sándor Elias Keszey and Samira Keszey; and sisters, Cecile Elias and Samia Elias.
A funeral service for Samir will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Anthony Coptic Orthodox Church, 1185 Wymore Rd #4240, Maitland, FL 32751. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at All Faiths Memorial Park, 1390 Park Dr, Casselberry, FL 32707.
