As a fellow sailor on the RKT with Allen I had the privilege of not only becoming his friend but also introducing him to my family here in Tennessee. My mother always said he had a bed for his head if he ever came back through. I am sorry not only for your loss but also that a very bright smile and a person that I always thought of as a brother is gone.

Allen was a great man as evidenced by so many things!  Great father sticks out.  One of the last memories I have of him is walking at Stampede holding Teresa's hands, like a couple newlyweds.  What a great thought!  You'll be missed!

It's been awhile since Allen and I chatted on FB.  The last post was back in March when he congratulated me on becoming a G'Ma.  I will always have fond memories of working with Allen and our lunches at CD's Wings. I met Allen in November as we were both doing the Sheriff's Dept. Fitness Challenge.  We worked out together at least twice a week for 12 weeks.  He was fun to be around and a great guy.  We stayed friends after the challenge, both of us a little smaller and a little stronger.  I will miss seeing him at the gym and at Sheriff's Dept. functions.  The world has lost a good man.  See ya on the other side Cowboy...

My prayers got out to the family, and friends. Though my memories of Allen are from when we were school age, he was always one to look on the bright side of things. I would like to think that he has inspired some of the people whose paths he's crossed.

Things won't ever be the same without you Allen. You were a presence. Funny. Strong. Loving husband.  Amazing father. Great friend. Hard worker. God will have his hands full with you. We will watch over Teresa and your boys. We will miss you always.

If I had to come up with just one word to describe Allen Crowner, that word would be "Positive".  I never saw him give up or give in. I hope for strength and love for his entire family, and peace in knowing he will be remembered.

Although my memories of Allen are from many years ago, they are great ones. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends during this time of grief. May God provide you the comfort you need and may your wonderful memories of a great man bring you peace and solace.
