If you are reading this, it means that I have returned to my Heavenly Home. Cancer may have been the cause of my physical death, but I am still a survivor, my Spirit lives on in Heaven until the wonderful Resurrection Day.
I came into this world on September 28, 1948, and left on January 19, 2016. I leave behind, for a little while: My Husband, Norman, my four children and their spouses, eight grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and many treasured friends. I take with me all the joy, wisdom and experiences of 67 years on earth. Also, the love of family and friends, the knowledge I have gained throughout my life and whatever blessings I have earned and that the angels have recorded.
Places I have lived: Kaysville, UT, Baltimore, MD, Anaheim, CA, Castle Rock, CO.
Jobs I have held: Transcriber, library book processor, telephone operator, receptionist, tool salesman, data base auditor, buyer for an aerospace manufacture.
I have visited: 45 states, France, Canada and Mexico
I love: God, my family, my friends, cats, flowers, reading, baking, good food, crossword puzzles, lunch and shopping with friends, classical music, laughing, movies and vacations. I have had a wonderful life.
In June, 2011, when I found out that I has terminal cancer, I wrote myself a mantra to remind me how I wanted to live.
CHOICES
I cannot change what is.
I can choose how I want to use my time each day.
I can choose to be happy.
I can choose to be kind.
I can choose to be brave.
I will be saving a spot for you in Heaven, but there is no hurry, enjoy your time on Earth, as I did. Be happy, be kind and be brave.
