He was very active and committed to improving the Korean community of Denver Colorado by serving a couple of terms as the President of the Senior Korean Association. Some of his memorial accomplishments include providing free tax filing services, educational social gatherings, coordinating meals and attending celebrations during his terms as the President for the Korean Senior Association. Chae actively honored veterans who fought during the Korean war to positively impacted many lives.
Chae Man Mun is survived by his Daughters: Jasmine Chong and husband Sok Hun, Matthew; Yona Zapinski and husband Eric James; and Yon Kim and husband Bill Schimel. Son: Yon Gap Mun. Grand children: Hana and Andrew Chong; Shane Garcia and fiancé Olivia; Shannon Garcia; Naomi Kim and husband Jessie Mack; Justin and Lauren Mun; Trevor Schimel Great-grandchildren Jayden, Nylah, Ezekiel, Benjamin and Nathan
