“Scotty”
March 1, 1983 – September 21, 2012
Scotty Burhenn, a former resident of Douglas County, died in an accident on September 21, 2012 in Kingfisher, OK. He is survived by his loving wife Venessa and their two children, Austin and Mackenna; his parents, Mike Burhenn and Dana Williams, and step mother Michelle Burhenn; his five siblings, Megan Thomas, Jason Kent, Lexie Kinson, Katelyn Barton, and Jewel Mullins, as well as his grandparents, Clifford Burhenn, Bonnie Burhenn and Larry Gettler.
The Celebration of life will be held with a public viewing at Ten O’ clock in the morning with the celebration to follow in Kirk Hall at the Douglas County Fair Grounds, 500 Fairgrounds Drive, Castle Rock, Colorado . He will be laid to rest at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 880 E. Wolfensberger Road in Castle Rock, Colorado, on September 28, 2012.
A fund has been set up at USBank called, “Scott’s Wish” to bless his children. Donations can be mailed or deposited at any USBank.
