

Larry was born August 7, 1939 in Moundridge, Kansas to parents Milford and Martha Stucky. He was one of six siblings in the family. Larry graduated from Burns, Kansas High School in 1957. In 1962 he married Karen Martens, and the new couple relocated to Colorado. December, 1966, Larry graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. His working years were spent as a Personnel Specialist for the State of Colorado. Following his retirement in 1998, Larry enjoyed reading, he enjoyed most spectator sports, volunteered and did odd jobs. He also enjoyed time with family and some motorcycle trips. For ten years Larry and Karen were snow birds in Arizona, where they developed special friendships and enjoyed the mild winters. Later years, he especially enjoyed keeping the bluegrass lawn in pristine condition.
Larry was diagnosed with MDS, March of 2020, and subsequently developed congestive heart failure with atrial fibrillation. December 10, 2020, he passed on to his heavenly home. Larry is survived by wife, Karen, two sons, Matt(Jena) of Denver, Colorado and Steve(Lisa) of Evergreen, Colorado, as well as seven beautiful grandchildren. A sister, Jan Hallada of Aurora, Colorado also survives.
The family will have a short service of burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock, Colorado on December 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m
