Mary Elizabeth Mead, RN, of Castle Rock, 84, passed away on August 9, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born April 25, 1926 in McKeesport, PA. She graduated from McKeesport H.S. and Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing. She is preceded in death by son, George G. Thompson (Janice), survived by son, James S. Thompson (Pam). Survived by 3 grandchildren, Amy Cope (Derrick), Christine Thompson and Flemming Naatz (Ben). Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 17th, 1:30 PM at Olinger, Castle Rock.
