Being from New York, Mary embraced her boisterous family and being a city girl. She was held a few odd jobs over the years but her main job was being a mom. While her children were young she was a military mom and wife. When the family was involved with Ron's Motor-Cross Racing she was a pit-mom, cooking not only for her family but all the young men who raced and later in life she was a grandma.
Being a military mom during the Vietnam War she had to be strong for her children, take care of the home and assist with all the moves. While still living in New York, Mary and Robert welcomed the arrival of their first son, Russell. They moved to Colorado next and welcomed to the family son Ronald. From there the family moved to Hawaii where they welcomed their final son, Shawn. After a while, Robert was transferred to New Mexico, then to Norway for three years, a little less than one year in Nebraska before returning to Colorado for a short time where Mary worked for Mountain Bell Telephone as a phone operator. The family finally settled in California.
While living in California she worked for Denny's. This is where she met and fell in love with her second husband, Cryil Reynolds. They were married in the 1990's and spent over 30 years in love before his passing in 2017. The following year she moved to Colorado to be near her son Ron.
Mary enjoyed trichem, which is liquid embroidery, crossword and word search puzzles, drinking coffee and talking with friends and family. She collected wind chimes and recipes that can never be duplicated. She was family oriented and spent the majority of her time table slap laughing or in the kitchen. She was a great cook and will be remembered most for her Sour Cream Chicken.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Cryil Reynolds; son Shawn Crane; daughter-in-law Teresa Crane.
She is survived by her sons: Russell Crane of Greece, Ron Crane and his wife Kathleen of Colorado; grandchildren: Nicole Crane, Carsten Crane, Justin Crane, Amanda Crane and two great-grandchildren.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.OlingerAndrews.com for the Reynolds family.
