Michelle Louisa Seela

Michelle grew up in Elizabeth, CO and moved to Castle Rock, CO in 3rd grade. She graduated from Douglas County High School in 1994 where she participated in marching band playing the clarinet. She followed her passion into helping children by becoming a special education teacher for Douglas County and Elizabeth, CO for over 15 years.

She was a caring daughter and mother. She always put her children first, whether that was being a sports-mom or a 4H-mom. Michelle was a strong, independent woman who loved the holidays. She enjoyed baking and loved dragonflies, dolphins and the color purple. Her greatest passion was her family. She adored her maternal grandparents and spent a lot of time with them growing up at the ranch.

She is preceded in death by her father James L Seela; grandpa Leonard Trujillo; grandparents Wally and Thelma Seela.

She is survived by her children: James L Seela and his wife Aubrey, Samantha M Seela, Louisa R Seela; granddaughter Sutton R Seela; mother Vikki Seela; brother Adam Seela and his wife Amanda; nephew Conner Seela; grandmother Helen Trujillo; uncle Dale Trujillo; aunts: Chris Laughlin and her husband Pat, Carol Hill and numerous extended family members.
