Phyllis Mary McQueen, 82 born August 12, 1932 in Flint, Michigan
passed away peacefully Friday October 31, 2014 in Castle Rock,
CO. Married to Norman for 61 years they had five children, Curtis
(Mary Lou), Rodney, Mitchell (Sheri), Rhonda (Jim) Thompson and
Scott. Seven grandchildren Jessup (Jessica), Chad, Andy, Matt,
and Tyler (Mandie) McQueen, Katie (Eddie) Flynn, and Kevin
Thompson. Three great grandchildren Makayla, Brayden and Tanner.
Long time Douglas County resident, Phyllis founded Pinetree
Jewelers in 1976, was active at Joy Lutheran Church, Prairie
Unitarian Universalist Church and volunteered at the Parker Task
Force, Phyllis loved to visit with family, friends, and her grand kids.
Memorial service will be Friday, November 7, at 2:30 p.m. at Joy
Lutheran Church in Parker, 7051 E. Parker Hills Court, Parker, CO
