Richard Joseph Hayes

Belvidere, New Jersey died on October 20, 2014 at the home of his daughter, Penny in

the presence of his loving wife, Emily. He was the son of Jacob D. Hayes and Belle G.

Hayes- born November 24, 1921. he was married to Emily Stout Hayes June 10, 1944,

They just celebrated their 70th anniversary.

He served in the Army Air Corp, Retired from Georgia Pacific Corp. in 1992. He was a

member of the Belvidere United Methodist Church for 68 years. Also a member of the

American Legion Post 5193 and Veteran of Foreign Wars and a past member and officer

of Warren County Rod and Gun Club #2.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and playing pool, cards, and bingo. He graduated

from Belvidere High School in 1940.

He is survived by his wife Emily and two daughters; Andrea H. Lott and her husband

William of Eliot, Maine, and Penelope H. Jones and her husband, Frederick of Castle

Rock Colorado, a brother, Ronald J. Hayes, and his wife Carol of Edison, N.J. and a

brother in law, Lester P Stout of Belvidere. Grandchildren; Samantha Lott Hale and

her husband Ben, Benjamin Lott, Allison Karacay and her husband Kerem, Nicholas

Jones, and one great grandaughter Adeline Emily Hale and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a sister Betty Hayes Stout.

No Calling hours, only graveside services at a later date.
