Robert Allan Jacobs

ROBERT ALAN JACOBS, 65 years old of Larkspur, Colorado passed away on June 8, 2015. Bob was born on April 15, 1950 at Swedish Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota to Richard F. Jacobs and Patricia A. Ellis. Bob was raised in Rochester, Minnesota and later lived in Colorado. He was a 1968 graduate of John Marshall High School. Initially he worded at Rochester Silo and became an apprentice mason with Nels Talmo Masonry in the early 1970's and retired from that field in 2013.

Bob married Jill Ramaker in 1975, they had two sons, Seth and Lincoln. Bob later married Gayle S. Boe (Wondrow) in 1990.

Bob was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed both hunting and fishing, especially with his high school buddies and friends from church whenever possible. He loved motorcycling. He and his wife Gayle traveled every year via bike to special destinations with family and friends, enjoying the out-of-doors.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Richard F. Jacobs, DDS. He is survived by his wife Gayle of Larkspur, Colorado, his sons Seth and Lincoln of Bella Vista, AR, step-son David Wondrow of Larkspur, Colorado, step-daughter Kelli Novotny of Chatfield, Minnesota. Also grandchildren Logan and Drake Jacobs and step-grandchildren Tyler Wondrow and Zoey Novotny. Also surviving him is his mother Patricia A. Martin of Fort Collins, Colorado, two brothers Richard and William Jacobs on Minneapolis and two sisters Susan Maldonado of Los Angeles and Ann James of Phoenix.

Bob's memorial service will be Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 a. m. at New Covenant Church in Larkspur, Colorado A memorial service will be held in Rochester, Minnesota on a later date.
