

Scott Edward Zimmerman, born on September 6, 1969, in Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 56. Known for his adventurous spirit, humorous nature, and devoted character, Scott was a beloved resident of Castle Rock, Colorado.
Scott was the youngest of two children, born to Edwin and Jean Zimmerman. He spent his formative years in Mesa and Tempe, Arizona, where he graduated from Dobson High School in 1987. Pursuing higher education, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. He later earned a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management in 1999 from the University of Phoenix.
In his professional life, Scott excelled as a Sr. Database Administrator for an Information Technology company, where his expertise and dedication were highly valued.
Scott met his wife, Beverly, while living in AZ and moved to Castle Rock, CO after they were married in 1999. Together they shared a loving family life with their daughter, Natalie, who was born in 2003. His family was the center of his world, and he was a devoted husband and father.
An enthusiast of the outdoors, Scott enjoyed cycling, skiing, hiking and camping, a passion he developed in his youth. He was an avid football & hockey fan, enjoyed going to concerts, hockey games & enjoyed taking Natalie to concerts, festivals, & games as well. Scott also appreciated the finer things in life, such as craft brews and bourbon, and he enjoyed playing pool in his leisure time.
Scott's quick wit and dry sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His legacy is one of laughter, love, and a life lived with enthusiasm and devotion.
Scott is survived by his wife Beverly (Kern), daughter Natalie, sister Julie (Brown), niece Morgan Brown, & great-niece Ava Hernandez.
