Our beloved mother went to be with our Lord & Savior on November 18, 2016. She was a resident of the Brookside Inn Nursing Center in Castle Rock, CO.
Born Stephanie Pyzik on February 17, 1922 to parents Mary (Sasiela) Pyzik and Peter Pyzik in Lansford, PA, she moved west to the Denver area in the late 1940’s and married Edward Orr in 1953. Together they raised four children. She is survived by sons Steven Golec of Farmington, MO & Richard Golec of Loveland, CO, daughter Karen Foos of Elizabeth, CO, and sister Mary Koczuch of York, PA; as well as six grand-children, twelve great grand-children, and one great-great grand-child. Proceeding her in death was her husband, Edward, a son, Johnnie, and three grand-children.
Stephanie was employed by Wyatt’s Cafeteria’s in Denver until her retirement in 1996.
Funeral services are scheduled for November 29, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Castle Rock, CO at 10:00am, followed by her final internment with her husband at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be donated to a mental health treatment organization.
