With a broken heart, we announce the passing of Wladyslaw (Walter) Zloza, age 86, who passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024. He was born on January 2, 1938, in Mulice, Poland, and was the beloved son of Józef and Rozalia Zloza.
Walter was the devoted husband to the love of his life, the late Zofia Zloza. He was a loving father to Vincent and Anna Zloza, Halina and Andrzej Kuros, and Andy and Helen Zloza. He was also the dear brother of the late Anna Styrzula (Zloza). Known as the most gentle and funniest grandfather and great-grandfather, Walter brought joy and warmth to everyone around him.
Walter was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to ensuring his children and grandchildren had every opportunity for a better future. Immigrating from Poland in pursuit of the American dream, he embraced every challenge with resilience and determination.
A devoted Catholic, Walter's faith was the foundation of his life, guiding him in all he did and providing strength during difficult times. He was an active member of his parish St Francis of Assisi and lived out his beliefs through acts of kindness, charity, and prayer. Walter's commitment to his family and his faith will live on through the values he instilled in his loved ones: hard work, love of family, and most importantly trust in God.
Rosary for Walter will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 5:00 PM at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, 407 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104. Visitation will follow from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 2746 Fifth St, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104. Additional viewing we be held at the church 1 hour prior to Mass.
Entombment will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, Colorado 80121.
Celebration Reception will immediately follow entombment at Olinger Chapel Hill, 6601 South Colorado Blvd. Centennial, Colorado 80121.
