

On January 11, 2014, Angelo James Nopulos, 98, of Baltimore; Born on July 10, 1915 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Devoted son of the late James and Aphrodite Nopulos; Beloved husband of the late Virginia Nopulos; Loving father of Barbara Harris and her husband Uriah and Diane Puigdomenech and her husband Jerald; Dear brother of Sophie Taylor, Rose Anastos, Mary Keffalos and the late Mary Peters, Helen Manley, Nick Nopulos, George Thomas, Stasia Koupos and James Galatis; Dear brother-in-law of George Kontozoglus and his wife Mary, Donna Thomas and Kathryn Galatis; Cherished grandfather of Jerald Puigdomenech Jr. and David Puigdomenech and great-grandfather of Devin and Trevor Puigdomenech; Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many cousins.
He was the former co-owner of the Double T Diner in Catonsville from 1959-1987. He loved his family, playing cards and especially his Ouzo.The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Nick Thomas and Daniel Smith for their love and devotion during his time of need.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228. Trisagion will be held on Wednesday, 3pm. Family will receive friends also on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 10:30 to 11am at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery Chapel, 5917 Windsor Mill Rd., Windsor Mill, MD. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11am. Interment will follow the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Greek Orthodox Annunciation Cathedral, 24 W. Preston St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
