Bill Christensen

Bill Christensen, 60, of Catonsville, MD, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Bill's zest for life was unmatched. Bill was an avid traveler with a passion for surfing and fishing. He was a musician and song writer, as well as a poet and creative writer. Bill was a prayerful man, deeply devoted to his faith and his family, with a gift for friendship. He was cherished for his deep love of God and neighbor, keen insight, intellect, humor, and one-of-a-kind personality.

Bill will be remembered by his beloved wife, Dee Nodar Christensen, and daughters: Kate Christensen Corzine and her husband Chris Corzine, and Corrie Christensen and partner Jessica Harrison. He will be greatly missed by his five grandchildren: Grayson, Sam, Annie, Betsie and Max Corzine; his father Arthur E. Christensen, and siblings: Art, Bob, Tom, John, Jane, and Jim Christensen and Susan Ryan. He is predeceased by his mother Jane Daiger Christensen. He is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a viewing Friday, December 19 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home, of Catonsville, Inc., at 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, Maryland, 21228.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception parish at 200 Ware Avenue, Towson, MD, 21204. Burial will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Lutherville-Timonium, MD.
