On September 18, 2014, C. DORIS MELLENDICK (nee Forestell) passed away. She is the beloved wife of the late Albert Herrmann, Jr. and the late Robert Mellendick; loving mother of Catherine A. Murphy (Austin), Thomas A. Herrmann, and Mary Beth Gourley (Carroll); step-mother of Robert Mellendick (Diane) and Lynn George (Jim); cherished grandmother of Rev. Austin Murphy, Elizabeth Furlong (Robert), Kevin Murphy (Courtney), Brian Murphy (Jennifer), Crickett Kasper (Matt), Thomas Herrmann, Jr. (fiancé Michelle), Joseph Gourley, and Katlyn Gourley; devoted great grandmother of 4 great granddaughters; dear sister of Shirley Haag (Thomas).
Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 21 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at STERLING-ASHTON-SCHWAB-WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC.; 1630 Edmondson Avenue; Catonsville, MD 21228. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM, Monday, September 22 at St. Agnes Catholic Church; 5422 Old Frederick Road; Baltimore, MD 21229. Interment in Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Little Sisters of the Poor; 601 Maiden Choice Lane; Catonsville, MD 21228.
