Eleanor Anne Laun of Catonsville passed away on January 10, 2012. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on Christmas Eve 1917, the second child of James A. McNelis Sr. and Matilda P. McNelis (nee Nerz). Her father died 9 months later as a result of the flu epidemic of 1918. Her mother was remarried to Walter J. Tyson Sr. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Laun Sr., devoted mother of Joseph P. Jr., James, John, Albert, Paul, Timothy, Walter, Mary Therese Doyle and Louise Duncan, grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 4. Beloved sister of Walter J. Tyson Jr., Marianne Vetto, Harry Tyson, the late James A. McNelis Jr. and the late Rev. Joseph Tyson SSJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the STERLING ASHTON SCHWAB WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Friday 2-4pm & 7-9pm and an hour prior to the funeral service at church.
