On August 22, 2014, Frederick A. Andres, Sr., age 91, passed away at Charlestown Retirement Community. Husband of 65 years to Irene; Father of Deborah Stone, Frederick Andres, Jr., Beverly Lockhart, Jay Andres and Jeffrey Andres, and the late Gary Andres (passed on July 16 from ALS); Brother of Lena and Helen and the late Richard and Henry; Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. He retired as a union Electrician. Dad enjoyed traveling, cruising, golfing, playing bridge/poker.
Friends and family will be received at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at Charlestown Retirement Community, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228 on Saturday, September 20 from 12:30-1:00 pm with a Memorial Mass Service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the University of MD ALS Clinic, In Memory of Gary Andres or his father, Fred Andres.
