On January 24, 2015, John (Jack) M. Martin, age 86, of Catonsville, MD., passed away. He was born in Woodlawn but resided in Catonsville. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Ann Bockmiller Martin; he is survived by his two sons, John (Jack) M. Martin, Jr. and his wife Sandra, of Severna Park, MD., and Michael P. Martin and his wife, Linda, of Catonsville, and three daughters, Belinda ( Bindy) M. Quigley of Catonsville, Susan M. Aschman and her husband Rick, also of Catonsville, and Kimberly M. Salamy and her husband, Sam of Riva, MD; plus 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Other survivors include one sister, Dorothy Ford. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, his parents, Francis and Alberta Martin, and siblings, Frank and Bob Martin, and Patsy Morseberger.
The Family will receive friends at the Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc. 1630 Edmondson Ave. Catonsville, MD 21228 on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday 11:00 a.m. Interment private.
