On May 9, 2017, James Wiley of Catonsville passed away; Beloved husband of N. Joan Wiley (nee Carpenter); Loving father of Sheri J. Parsons (late Thomas Parsons), James P. Wiley (Susie), Candice J. Bennie (Andrew R.) , Lori J. Wiley, and Jeffrey B. Wiley (Wendy); Cherished grandfather of 11, great-grandfather of 15,and great great- grandfather of 2; Dear uncle of George Opolka and Michelle Phillips.
Mr. Wiley was born on July 11, 1926 in Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific during WWII and also during the Korean War.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 4 to 6pm, where a Memorial Service will begin at 5pm.
